What is the maximum thickness of mirror these can hold?

The mirror sits in the clips with a plastic washer behind it. The clip is 10mm deep and the plastic washer is 3mm thick so a mirror very slightly less than 7mm thick will fit.

What metal are these clips made out of? I want to use them outside and need stainless steel.

Hi , you need stainless steel, it is galvanized but to use outside?I am not sure.

One of the screws broke off when I tried to drill to the wall. I didn't use a lot of pressure but just normal screw driver pressure. Half of the screw was left inside the wall. Other than this the kit is useful.
