I LOVE this protein powder and I'm such a picky eater
Genuinely one of the best protein powders I have ever tried and the price is on par with a lot of other worse tasting powders. I LOVE that it's sweetened with Monk Fruit instead of stevia or sucralose. There's an organic greens blend in this too along with a probiotic blend for gut health AND the 25g of whey isolate protein. It's easy to mix and has a creamy consistency even with just water which is perfect for calorie counting, The macros on this are great for the flavor. It works great as a replacement for my morning tea, smells just like my usual matcha tea. And to top it off the company itself is fantastic and will replace your bag if you have any issues or even if you just don't like the flavor. P.S. I'm picky and can't even tolerate ISOpure 100 or dymatize. Sometimes the fruity pebble flavor is okay. Also these flavors are cheaper on their website but shipping is different. Pick your poison

Satisfying and Easy
Tastes good! It won’t taste like a matcha you get at the boba shop but it’s definitely good for a shakeable protein drink. It does have a nice milky and thick consistency when mixed with water, but there’s no clumping or grit. Tastes great with soy milk as well. There’s a slight artificial taste

Taste great!
Honestly I love this stuff! I got the Matcha Lattee and it tastes pretty good. It can be a little on the sweeeter side but I just add more water to balance out the flavor and it taste amazing. Texture is pretty good its not grainy and depending on how much liquid you put in it you can make it a thinner consistency. Overall I would recommend this and I will probably try other flavors!

Great product, but not for me
This is a high quality protein powder. The protein taste is minimal (signals great quality), the matcha taste is earthy and savory (signals great quality). It mixes and dissolves well. However, I won't be buying this protein again (as is). Where this loses points for me is the monkfruit. To me, monkfruit can taste artificial when there's too much of it present. I feel that the use of monkfruit in this product makes it much less tasty and feels synthetically sweet. I would much prefer that real sugar be used sparingly for a more natural, less "sweet" taste. If it's possible to offer such a product, keeping the rest of the ingredients as is, I would absolutely purchase it.

Finally protein in my flavor <3
I really enjoyed this matcha protein. I also bought the Vietnamese coffee & want to try the taro. Tastes great, comparable to other proteins and their price point, also it mixed well. Would def buy again.

After taste of Monk Fruit
I have tried a lot of matcha powders. I have been drinking it for years, even before it became a fad. I am trying to get more protein in my day and saw this had good reviews. Some people said the greens aspect was overpowering, for me I didn’t mind. I blended the powder with water and a hand held frother. Then I added my lactose free protein milk. It blended very well, smooth, no clumbs or grittiness. The powder itself has a nice green color so you know it’s fresh. I was hesitant on this purchase because of the added monk fruit. I don’t like monk fruit and was hoping I couldn’t taste it. I was wrong, you can taste it! Other than that, I think it’s a great powder with great ingredients. It smells like greens and matcha powder when you open the bag. Which I agree with another reviewer, needs work because I can’t close half the top. Luckily I have air sealed containers for my matcha so it doesn’t go bad. Overall im pleased with this but don’t know how much monk fruit after taste I can handle. I’m wondering if other flavors have less monk fruit taste or are just as good. I would still recommend it but purchase at your own risk as you can’t return it here or on their official website.

Perfection in a Bag
Just awesome, easily my favorite protein companies because 1. It mixes smoothly and within like 40 secs 2. No added sugars 3. It tastes great. I’m so glad they went back to their old formula (their vegan one does NOT taste good imo bcs all that lab made stuff). Usually i put ice in my smoothies to kill foaminess and it works like a charm, most protein shakes have super foam and im like wth is this? But boba protein is just perfection, i’ll never cheat on them!!

Oversweet disappointment!
I bought the taro powder a while back, and it was amazing. It did have a bit of artificial aftertaste from the sweetener, but that was expected since I'm sensitive to that. But the matcha was terrible! It wasn't just the aftertaste. It was so, so sweet I couldn't get through 2 sips of it. I attempted to half the portion and add it to my regular matcha latte hoping to get at least SOME protein, but it was just as bad. Why is this made so sweet? And add to that that there are no refunds even with prime. It's made it so that I have no desire to purchase anything further from this company. I found making my own protein matcha latte was far superior. I use unsweetened whey protein and mix that with ceremonial grade matcha into steamed (heated) milk after it has cooled. Then add a little creamer for more richness. For sweetener, I add half Lakanto monkfruit sweetener and half agave nectar to taste. It's perfection! Boba Tea Protein Matcha Latte get 2 thumbs down and a no from me. If they would make this unsweetened so we could add our own preferred sweetener, then I think they'd have something.
