I had an issue with my third brake light burning out constantly. I think the gasket might have slightly leaked allowing the occasional drop of water to hit a hot bulb shattering it. I decided to replace the whole housing with this LED one. To start, it fit perfectly and looks very good. Not gaudy looking but similar to something the factory would install. The gasket on it was 2 times as thick as the original. For sure it makes a great seal. The cargo lights are much brighter. It has been helpful now that it gets dark earlier. And of course, last but not least, the brake light works great and my dash warning is off!

Product is nice and good quality. Even came with a new 3M gasket to add with the 3rd brake light. I had to break off the little plastic tab on this break light that’s supposed to line up with the little hole in The truck frame for alignment (it didn’t line up properly) but it was easy enough and then it fit perfectly. Sits flush and snug, don’t think there will be any leaks. And it is BRIGHT! Exactly what I was looking for with brightness to have the extra cargo lighting for the bed at night. For its price. It is a great product.

I love this upgrade my only issue is there must be a very low voltage seeping through because It is very dimly lit any time the truck is on. I can turn the truck off at night, exit, watch the light and it will go from being very dimly lit for about a minute and then fade to off after about 1 minute, like its still getting relay power somehow. Its done this for a year now and does not bother me or drain the battery.

Replaced entire OEM fixture when halogen light burned out because I silicon sealed the factory fixture up while trying to track down a water leak. Trying to clean the original gasket off was nearly impossible. This fixture was reasonably priced, and had LED lights that better matched the truck's LED tail lights and other LEDs that I used to replace OEM halogen bulbs. Provided gasket seems to be working well - did not see any need to add any extra silicon. No noticeable leaks. Brake and white bed lights are much brighter than OEM.

It was easy to install. Gave me no trouble at all getting it in. All of the LEDs are working and it looks much better than the bright red factory light. However, it has been installed for about 10 minutes. I'm interested to see how it lasts. The cargo LEDs are not very bright just like other reviews have said but my 2017 Big Horn has lights in the bed itself that do a great job. I'm hoping I don't regret the decision to buy this product. Time will tell. I'm giving 4 stars right now because I just installed this third brake light and it may die tomorrow. Who knows? *Update* 2/7/19 Still working and looking good. No problems.

As the rest of the reviews state, the tabs don't line up, snap em off you might have a shot. The first one I ordered, not only the tabs didn't line up, the screw holes didn't either. Initiated a return, but ordered another. Second one, again, tabs didn't line up. The screw holes however DID! Seems to fit well enough without the tabs. Looks great too. Obviously some quality control issues, but if youve the patience, it's a decent value.

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 classic (Warlock) and at first it didn’t fit because of a plastic tab… I just used side cutters to cut the tab off and it’s fits perfectly, works perfectly with zero issues.

obviously this was made and never offered up to see how it would fit . Massive gape all around and no gasket / seal provided . Had to use a whole tube of sealant to keep water out . Would not buy again . Hopefully lasts longer than the 2 month life led bulbs amazon sold me previously

Looks great on the truck and the brake light works, but the cargo light doesn't work.

No issues with the cargo light staying on everything functions as it should! I'm giving it a 4/5 because the alignment stems below the screw hole were not in the right place at all. I snapped those off and it mounted no problem! 2014 Ram 1500 Sport
