Got this to repurpose some wine bottles and it has been such good quality for the price! Very easy to use and store. Have gotten so much use out of this over the past two years and will repurchase when necessary.

For square bottles you have to take it apart and use some parts. For the usual round it does well. The bottle stop is a little weak, so you have to use care to not slide the bottle while cutting.

Worked like a charm, I am very happy with this cutter. The directions are easy to follow and the cutter platform is easy to add and remove rollers, cutters and stabilizer knob to get the right size for the bottle. It comes with everything including the screwdriver. After I'd cut my bottles clean up was easy, wet wipe and dry and put away for next use. =)

Let me preface: I've been scoring and cutting glass bottles and selling them as tumblers for over 5 years; this product is not what it is described to be. It was received missing a cutting wheel. It is not easy to use. It is flimsy, chincy, and does not simplify or standardize scoring bottles for cutting. The vertical support (perpendicular to the base) is not sturdy enough to withstand any lateral forces, which is an essential part of scoring glass for cutting. Even when locking screws are tight, the metal plate bends back and forth with the smallest effort while user rotates the bottle which sends the score line wildly off course- effectively ruining any attempt at achieving 1 single uniform score line. Item has absolutely no special features to accommodate square or large diameter bottles, despite what the advertisement says. User is basically left to freehand score the bottle while it's on its side. Again, save your time and money. Will be contacting customer service and seeking a refund.

This was a great bottle cutter on the first few bottles I used it on. The second time I pulled it out the cutter piece would not score the bottle and kept falling out of position no matter how much I tightened it. Switched pieces and while that one would score the glass it continued falling. I'm not sure if I should buy new hardware for it or if the mount area is already worn out somehow.

Came assembled. Two cutting heads came with which was NOT advertised. Nice to have the extra cutting head. Took me less than five minutes to remove the other cutting head, attach the extra roller wheel, align the cutting head, set the stop, and score my first wine bottle. Does a wonderful job. Love how solid the base is and there are no bolts to lose since the base has integrated bolts that stay with the base. It came with written instructions as well as a DVD which you can put in your player and watch a video on how to use this device. Also comes with a screwdriver to adjust the wheels and cutters with. I went for this one even though the price was higher. Since it is a version 2, they seem to have all the bugs worked out.

This product comes setup incorrectly to begin with and will require moving the components around to perform the primary function, a standard wine bottle. This must be the reason for including the cheap screwdriver. There will be a good amount of glass dust, particles, that you will want to be careful with. Use gloves, although the instruction video shows doing this bare handed. This is NOT a simple process, definitely only for adults.

The cutting works as it should. There is a learning curve of course so before using your primary bottles, have a few expendable bottles to play with. Once you complete your cutting circles you need to stop. I used zip ties on the cutting line to focus the water on the cut for skinner bottles.

Fait ce qu'il dit, mais doit peser très fort et utiliser de l'eau bouillante et glacé en alternance à plusieurs reprises pour fisurer le verre. Ne permet d'ajuster a toute les grandeurs de bouteilles. Bien pour faire des verres.

Been a while and product has sold out. I made an attempt however did not get a clean cut. It must have been experience or the process or that I don't have enough strength. The end product can be cleaned up nicely quickly if I have other tools though instead of the provided sand paper.

Very hard to use.
