I couldn’t figure out why I could not peel my eggs for the life of me, used this and the first try they peeled amazingly.

Works great! This egg piercer does the trick when cooking my dog’s hard boiled eggs in the electric egg cooker. Never once has it broken/cracked an egg.

Works pretty well... Just be careful with the pressure you apply to the eggshell don't hold the egg too tight or use too much pressure...the shell will break.

We love this item. We poke the egg before putting it in our steamer. No more wasting boiled eggs while peeling.

The needle is sharp enough to pierce the shell without breaking but then there's not a good way to clean and sanitize the tool. It doesn't come apart... that I've found yet anyway. (It came with no paperwork.) So, you push the egg down the needle comes up, pierces the egg and goes straight back down in the it's holding container. For some that may be okay but when working with eggs I like to know there's no egg build up on the inside for the needle to be sitting in it crossing every time it's used.

Broken after only having it for 2 days and using it literally just twice. The spring mechanism that keeps the needle/prick part hidden no longer works. This is a low quality product that does not last long. Waste of money.

I'm the "deviled egg guy" in my circle. When there's a gathering, I'm asked "Will you bring your eggs?" Who am I to disappoint the masses. That said, I'm not making a dozen, I'm making three dozen at a time. I never bring any home. This little gadget helps you to make perfect, peelable eggs every time. Yes, you can tap your egg on the counter, but I typically tap too hard. This little gadget makes the perfect pinhole to allow enough boiling water inside the shell to make them peel easily every time. Oh, and my secret is using salad dressing and not mayo.
