Quality Management Demystified

I recommended this book as a textbook for students begining to study quality management. Main reason was that I felt that Quality Control for Dummies might be give out the wrong message. How wrong I was. Quality Control for Dummies is a superior book that really conveys the core concepts of modern quality management approaches. Quality Demystified is at best a coffee table curiosity.

Got this as a reference book so I can quickly get to section I require. Therefore feedback would require time scale. It works for me for the function bought

Just like the title indicates, this is a clear layman's read but with all the detail you need to get a solid grounding in Quality Management. I recommend this book to all co-workers who attend my quality workshops, and always get positive feedback. One of my favorite go-to texts for fresh ideas and approaches to presenting a rather technical subject matter.

As a person who had no idea in quality management this book has been, at the moment, my best starter. It is easy to read, detailed enough, and covering a wide range of elements of quality management. It gives an excellent overview and rather complete, both methodical and historical about what it takes to do quality management. The only objection, might be, that it does not deepens most topocs; but this is impossible in the scope of the book. However, it provides references to expand most treated fields.

It is a nice introudution into Quality Management. Nicely layout and easy to read. The examples are great and very interesting.

Written like a text book and offers information in a format useable from top management down to the worker on the production line. Covers basic quality principles and history of quality improvement. Quizzes after each chapter with answers in the back of the book. Fits nicely with Lean Six Sigma, Total Quality Management and Statistics with slant towards making it right the first time.
