Works well instead of replacing all of my lightening adapters. There seems to be some connectivity issues when using the aux cable in car mode; not sure if it has to do with the data or electric transfer, but some calls have been disconnected which is frustrating but it is what it is. Works well for the time being!

It’s an apple product so it does what it says and it just works. Yes there are cheaper knockoff ones out there and can/may do the job but with all the wireless ear pods out there now these have become very inexpensive. INHO for the price difference just go with the real one. I needed it because I moves away for wireless pods and back to wired ones

Works as it should and allows me to use my old Apple Pencil with my A16 iPad.

I carry this in my travel bag to avoid the bulk of a separate lightning cable to charge my older AirPods and iPad when I am away from home. It is small, light, durable and easy to use. So far (periodic use over a year or so) it has been very reliable.

Very disappointed in this Apple product. It worked for a little over 3 months and I only used it a handful of times. I have a 2023 SUV. In order to use maps on my iPhone 16 and have it project to the screen in my SUV, I have to use a Type A USB. Apple does not make a Type-A USB to a Type-C, they only make a Type-A USB to Lightening, so this is why I needed the adapter in the first place. Apple sells Anker Type-A USB to Type-C, but my phone still kept getting kicked off my SUV. Ever since my phone updated to the latest ISO, my phone doesn’t stay connected to my SUV. After doing some research, I was told to only use Apple cables/cords in my SUV. So I bought another Apple USB-A USB to Lightening cable and then bought this adapter so I can use my iPhone 16. I’ve only used it a handful of times, since I only use it when I need to project my maps, but now it doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried it with different cables, tried it in my house using an Apple charging block and still nothing. I’m very disappointed in this $30 piece of garbage. For the same price, I just bought a Bluetooth adapter and so far it works great.

This adapter properly converts from an Apple Lightning data & power plug to a USB C plug for data and power. I had an IR camera, with a ‘Lightning’ connector, that I used with my old Iphone6. When I got an Iphone15, I bought a ‘Lighting to USB C’ adapter from a local department store, BUT it did NOT work. My Iphone15 didn’t see the signal from the IR camera. I bought this Apple branded ‘Lightning to USB C’ adapter, and YES, it does work. My Iphone15 sees the IR camera imagery.
