I love having this on my dog’s collar. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if she ever gets lost, someone can scan it and help get her back to me quickly. The QR code rubs off quickly and the tag is no longer able to be scanned rendering it useless. Follow up: the people from Ring contacted me, they sent an email to schedule a time to call, they called and arranged to send me a new tag. They were super nice. Stellar customer service!

Like product. Easy to setup. Major flaw is the ring app itself. The tags dont show as devices on app. Plus finding and editing the profile for the pets is a hidden mystery. Why dont it show up as a connected device and be able to edit? To me this is more important than some of the other devices. Fix it Ring. Pet tags should be easily accessed and forefront on the app. Clean it up! UPDATE I updated the rating one star because I was impressed by customer service that reached out to me after reading the review. You can in fact find the tags but instead of showing up under devices they show up under neighborhood. I told them I thought this was a dumb idea and stated if a person is in a panic because they lost their dog its maybe not where they would look. Should be right on the first page of the app. I care more about my pets than anything else in my home. And why cant they have the tags in the Neighborhood and device parts of app? Why one or the other. Love customer service but the way you treat the pet tags importance is dumb!

I definitely prefer these over traditional dog tags. The QR code is very helpful for storing information about the dog, as well as information about the owner. It does noy require batteries, only knowledge on how to scan QR codes with your phone. Some reviews have mentioned the QR code rubbing off, however they have updated the tag to have an acrylic coating over the code, preventing it from rubbing. It’s cheap and durable. I would definitely recommend this.

I love this option for my beloved furry boy! Aluminum & light weight non-hazardous to their health & the qr scanning, awesome!

we use ring cameras, and now we have ring tags for dogs. I think it’s wonderful that we can connect them all in the app. Keep track of our dogs are home and security all at the same time. One of the things I love is that the tags are very lightweight so the dogs don’t even notice that they have them on where I have had others where they bothered the dogs and they would try to chew at them, but not the ring. So if you’re looking for something to complement other ring products you have in your home these will work perfectly for your pet
