It Actually Works...
Well it doesn't get rid of the fly that is buzzing around your head... But overnight it catches flies! I used this last summer and with warm weather coming in April, I've pulled out my units to use again this summer. So I'm impressed with Vevo. And thankfully we don't get lots of flies, but then there are days when there are too many, especially on very hot days. I guess flies like air-conditioning! Lol! ***Just remember that the Vevo trap works best overnight and only when the room is dark, so the light can lure the fly into the trap... And then the pesky thing won't bother you anymore! At 1st I didn't think it was working, but then I checked each trap and it had snared it's prey, so to say. About a week and a half later, I checked them again and here were my findings. - Unit 1 is by our partly glass back door and it caught 2 flies. It's plugged in under our bay window and is about 10 feet from a lamp that stays on all night. ***Vevo says light will possibly deter flies from the catcher. You see, the trap uses an ultra violet light with a cover (for human and pet eye safety), so if you have other light sources then the fly may go to those lights. - Unit 2 is in the kitchen, on an upper plug above an unused counter, that is almost in a corner and is not far from our covered kitchen trash can. This unit had 6 flies! So the darker area and the location being nearer to the trashcan (fly restaurant), lured more flies to it, thus removing the pests from buzzing around me and my family. ***This is way better than fly tape that is nasty and looks disgusting. Plus I don't have to touch the sticky area or the flies in order to dispose of them. That said, I'm waiting until more flies come to their demise before tossing the liner. Unfortunately, the liners are expensive! Admittedly they are on a frame with a holder, which is what makes this sanitary and less icky. So to me, it's worth the price. Plus there are some generic brand refill cartridges available on Amazon if you want to pay a lower price... (Just be careful of which refill you choose and of what shop. Amazon is full of poor quality items, but there are gems among the rubble.) Now these are not decorative, but they are not bad looking either. The soft light they cast onto the wall is kinda nice. Plus I only use these in the summer and they are small enough to put away during the winter, making them cost effective. So what is my verdict? 2 Vevo units, including some refill cartridges and the occasional use of a fly swatter is all I need during the summer to get rid of annoying flies. *** So I highly recommend this product! It gets rid of flies while I sleep, so there are less or all gone the next day. That said, when the back door opens to let our pups in and out, all day long... more flies arrive, so I'm glad Vevo makes such a good product that is simple to use and reliable. So if you have flies buzzing around you and your family, then this product will get rid of them while everyone is sleeping. And clean up is simple and sanitary. Try it! You will enjoy summer better!

These work well; see review for what they do and don't do
These work well. They have attracted many, many gnats, just as they were advertised to do. The sticky pads that come with the kit are perfect and once a gnat lands, it isn't getting off again. There is no sound and no chemicals or smell, which is perfect. I've read through other reviews and there is some controversy as to whether these work. The answer is how you define "work". They are terrific for what they're designed to do; they've probably cleared 150+ gnats out of my house in just a few days. But, they are an aid, not a solution to a problem unless you just let some flies into your house and you need them gone. In my case, I had a fungus gnat infestation caused by a gnat laying eggs in the soil of a houseplant and that started a breeding cycle which meant gnats everywhere. These traps will not solve that kind of problem for you; you have to figure that out and solve it yourself. But once you've eliminated the problem, it will quickly reduce the number of gnats/flies in your house to tolerable levels. I'd definitely buy these again.

Great way to rid your home of insects
This is about my third time purchasing these my former apartment got taken over by gnats from a plant that I had they came from the soil. I didn’t know what to do. I made the apple cider vinegar traps, but that only killed so many my boyfriend had these in his home and recommend I try them. So originally he bought me a four pack and I put them in different places around the apartment. I was shocked at how many gnats I had trapped the next day. I still had a huge gnat problem, but I was finally making some leeway. After about a week the gnats dwindled down to hardly any. I purchased generic refills for these that work exactly the same so I’m always able to put a fresh one in when they get too full. I live in a bigger apartment now so I wanted to get a couple of more. I had a few gnats and the normal flies and things that enter an apartment, but I just feel safer when these are hanging on my wall because at night when all the lights are out and these blue lights are the only thing shining, all the bugs are attracted right to it. What a surprise it was the other day, I had a giant fly that got in my apartment. I was trying to chase it down and swat it and could not get it. Well it went into my laundry room where I have one of these plugged in and I shut the door, hoping if I can contain it in there that later I could go in there and try to kill it, lol. After about 30 minutes, I went in there to see if I could get him and I couldn’t find him and I looked in my Zevo and there he was he was attracted to the light flew in and got stuck. I have caught four flies that way. They get in when I’m opening my doors and later I find them in the Zevo traps. Will they kill every bug you have, no, but will they make a serious dent in it, just give it time. They keep your home feeling clean with hardly any bugs and you’ll always know that blue light is shining, so I just tell them like the poltergeist movie, go into the light Carol Ann😂😂

Not catching many gnats at first
I have a gnat problem. It’s August, so very common. I bought 2 of these, put in kitchen where the gnats are a big issue. After 2-3 days, I was not impressed, HOWEVER, a week later I AM IMPRESSED with how they catch gnats. I also use cider vinegar and a squirt of Dawn in small bowls (which does a very good job, but you have to look at it). So I’ll give these a 4 star now. They are pricey, and they take longer to catch the gnats, but you don’t have to look at a small bowl of dead gnats. I don’t have any other insects like flies, so my rating is just for gnats. Now as to whether I’ll buy refills for the plug-in unit, I don’t know at this point. I am thrifty, and might just use the apple cider/Dawn concoction.

A great way to reduce kitchen pests
This is one of those rare products that does exactly what it sets out to do, it solves a big problem and it does so simply and without breaking the bank. Setup is incredibly easy, take off the easy-to-peel cover from the sticky trap, slide it into the holder, and plug it in. I was able to notice results within the first 24 hours, I unplugged it just out of curiosity and was shocked at how many annoying bugs and flies were stuck on the back. Your only notice that the Zevo is working is a soft blue light - you don't notice it during the day or when lights are really on and can also act as a mild night-light after hours. You'll have to check the sticky trap periodically in order to gauge when you'll need replacements, that'll be the best way to track your usage.

Great trap for flying critters
We bought this because we were having trouble with fruit flies. All you have to do is put a cartridge in then plug it into the wall. The fruit flies disappeared! It took some time but this Zevo trap works! It also caught other flying critters like moths, etc. It really works! It does not make a sound, so you don't have to worry about noise. It is very sticky - bugs cannot get off of it! It is easy to plug and unplug. It is easy to change cartridges and reuse. So far it has been safe. We have not had any problems with it at all!

Give it time and it will get them
You've probably noticed that there are a bunch of these devices available on the market. I chose Zevo because someone at work bought a set because we had a persistent gnat problem in the breakroom; within a few days, they were nearly wiped out. My house developed a gnat infestation a few weeks ago and I needed to do something. I put one next to my kitchen trashcan and one in the bathroom -- the two most popular spots. I was initially disappointed because the traps didn't catch much for the first day or two. However, once they got rolling, they caught a lot! The attached photo was taken of the kitchen trap after 8-9 of action. The traps were effective enough that I decided to add the Zevo gnat/fly spray, and between the two methods, I have been able to get most of the pests. Positives: the blue light can double as a decent nightlight, the traps are easy to change, and they are totally silent. Negatives: the units are rather large, so if you need to plug in something with a large plug, you may need to find another outlet; the units rotate, but only in one direction, which seems a little odd. Overall, they do a pretty good job.
