Another old laptop rescued from charger limbo We had a compatible computer that was still perfectly usable except for the minor problem of not having the correct power supply. This charger fit as expected and brought it right back into service. The plug fits securely, the cord is a good practical size and the charger itself doesn't feel excessively bulky. I like being able to keep useful electronics running rather than replacing an entire device because one cord disappeared somewhere along the way. So far the quality has been completely satisfactory. Sometimes a five-star review really is just "it fit, it worked, problem solved."

Works exactly as expected and powers my device without any issues. The cord is a good length, the connection is secure, and it feels well-made. Installation was simple, and it’s a great replacement power adapter for the price.

Nice transformer. The only problem that I have is that the Amazon description says that it is 12V, 3 amp. The box that the unit came in says 12 V, 3 amp. The transformer itself has 12V, 3 amp printed on it. Is it rated for 2 amps or 3 amps. I don't know if I should return it or not. I tend to believe the writing on the product because it it would make sense for the product to have the correct rating. I guess that I'll hold onto it and find out. What I'm using it on calls for 3 amps, so it shouldn't take long to find out. Hopefully I will use it before the warranty runs out and be able to return it if needed!
