Original Wine Saver Pump – with 2 Vacuum Wine Stoppers – Wine Bottle Stopper and Wine Preserver for Red or White Wine – White

This is a simple, but effective piece of kit.I have used it both with red and white wines and it definitely extends the life of the wine, sometimes for more than a week.Would highly recommend.

Seems to work well for the few days needed to carry over a half bottle. Two tops provided seems a good idea for one in the fridge. Seal works well so far and not too expensive. Looks sturdy enough but time will be the better judge.

I have used this for about 10 days with my bottle of wine. It appears to have kept it similar in flavour all this time. There was a can in taste after 8 days. It’s very slight change in flavour. The pump is easy to use. You pump it will until you hear a click. It’s also easy to pump due to the large handle. The bottle stopper is 2 parts and easy to clean and take apart and put back together. You do need to use a cloth to wipe the small crevices as they can hold onto water after 1 night of drying.

it works well, easy to use and does the job

I stumbled upon the Wine Saver Vacuum Pump, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my nightly glass of wine routine! This nifty gadget has not only allowed me to savor a glass or two every night but has also eliminated the worry of the remaining wine going off.The magic lies in its ability to create a vacuum that preserves the wine for days. Now, I can enjoy the luxury of opening a bottle without the pressure to finish it in one go. It's like having a personal wine butler ensuring that every sip is as delightful as the first. What truly amazed me is the longevity it adds to the wine. I experimented by keeping a bottle for a whopping 5 days, and to my surprise, no adverse effects whatsoever! The wine tasted as fresh and vibrant as the day I opened it.This invention has not only enhanced my wine-drinking experience but has also inadvertently helped me cut down on my alcohol consumption. No more guilt about leaving an unfinished bottle to waste—I can now enjoy my favourite wines at my own pace.I can't help but wonder why I didn't discover this gem years ago. It's a small investment that pays off big time, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Wine Saver Vacuum Pump to anyone who enjoys savouring their wine slowly. Cheers to preserving the good times, one bottle at a time!

I bought one of these over 20 years ago and it's still going strong. I bought this one for my oldest who has recently discovered the joys of red wine. An effective means effort preserving wine one opened. It works well and replacement stoppers are available although I have never needed to buy one. Highly recommend.

Love it - it really works. Can make a bottle of wine last longer so reducing the need to gulp it down in one go. Easy to keep clean.

I've always seen these vacuum stoppers in shops and thought they were a bit of a gimmick and just jammed the cork from the bottle back in the top. I watched a YouTube video where a sommelier reviewed this as a product and his response was that this is what they use as standard in all the restaurants he has ever worked in and swears by the performance of the stoppers.I can say that it definitely contributes towards preserving an opened bottle of wine, particularly if you don't drink much or only on weekends. The whole concept is really simple, where you use the pump to suck the air out through the stopper until it makes a click/clack sound to indicate the vacuum has been reached. To open it you just push the protrusion on the top to let air back in. Would highly recommend for anyone who is a wine drinker and likes to drink a bottle over several days, it will bring more enjoyment to the whole bottle. It is also a great gift for a wine lover, we have already gifted one.Well worth the money.

Don’t order from this seller. Items delivered are not Vacu Vin. Instead generic cheap vacuum system provided.

Product works well and creates a vacuum in the bottle hence extending the shelf lifeManual pump action is not easy
