How much Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner should I use?

Use 2 fl oz of Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner per 100 gallons of water. The 8 fl oz instructions are based on an average 400-gallon hot tub. For larger hot tubs and swim spas, simply calculate the amount based on total water capacity.

How does Oh Yuk help support hot tub chemical performance?

Buildup inside jets and plumbing can trap oils, grime, and organic residue, making water harder to maintain. Oh Yuk helps flush that hidden buildup so your regular hot tub chemicals can work more effectively in a cleaner system.

Why do I see gunk or scum after using the cleaner?

Oh Yuk circulates through the system, it can loosen hidden residue from the plumbing and jet lines. You may see material appear in the water, foam or around the spa.

Can I use Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner in inflatable hot tubs, in-ground spas, or swim spas?

Yes. Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner can be used for inflatable hot tubs, in-ground hot tubs, jetted spas, and swim spas. Choose the bottle size based on your spa’s water capacity and use 2 fl oz per 100 gallons of water.

How do I clean scum rings and residue that appear after flushing my hot tub?

After draining, use Oh Yuk Hot Tub Surface Cleaner to remove scum, oils, and grime. It cuts buildup easily and helps protect your hot tub surface from UV exposure.
