Purina Tidy Cats Breeze Covered Cat Litter Box System Kit

This litter system is genuinely life changing, and that’s not even an exaggeration. It’s improved both our lives re: cleaning and Miss Kitty’s re: using it. All the essay-length, updated-multiple-times reviews on here aren’t lying. It’s been about a year since we got it and it’s been worth every penny. So here’s my essay length review. Miss Kitty likes to pee in the same corner every. single. time. Without fail. That meant that when we still used regular litter, that corner was always extra gross. Didn’t matter how well the litter was designed to clump. Also the older Miss Kitty gets, the less she cared about keeping her feet clean, so she was tracking grody footprints everywhere. She also had litter stuck in the fur between her paws which couldn’t have been comfortable. And she was kicking the litter out and then grippin’ it in her paws, so she was tracking litter everywhere, no matter what we did to clean. Since she likes to sleep on our bed all the time, we were getting desperate for a solution. So I went searching and came across this (I think from a Reddit suggestion iirc). I read a bunch of the reviews, the multiple updates, the photos, the hacks. It sounded too good to be true. Good news: it’s true. The major pros: • The lack of smell. Oh man, that right there is one of the biggest pluses. Cat ammonia permeates everything and I hate the idea that I could become nose blind to it and then have family or friends over who could smell it. Scented cat litter was never an option because then Miss Kitty would walk by all perfumed but all that did was make me think of the fact that she just got out of the litter box. Ew. And then later that turned into scented cat ammonia when cleaning it out. Ew. This system is - somehow - 98% scent free, even when it’s time to change a batch of pellets. Truly magical. • The near lack of “ew” factor when cleaning out the poop or pee pad. You know what I mean, re: regular litter. • The pellets are advertised to work for 4 weeks, but we usually get about 6 weeks out of each batch. Each batch uses 3.5lbs of pellets and that looks like it isn’t enough if you’re coming from regular litter, but since it doesn’t need to absorb liquid, it’s definitely sufficient. They also mask the poop smell impressively well. There’s a little odor while it’s fresh, but the zeolite pellets dry it out quickly. • The pee pads are magical. I’ve used “magical” a few times, but I really mean it. Absolutely ZERO cat urine smell, no matter how full or even over-full they get. I don’t know how they do it. Based on plenty of other reviews, I’m pretty sure every new Breeze system owner accidentally lets a pad go too long at least once until it’s swimming in urine (gross) and then has a mixed bag of emotions of “ew!” and “how is there no smell??” We have to change the pad on a schedule because there will be no odor to remind us. With one cat, we change it once a week (the night before trash day). • Both the pads and pellets are available locally in PetSmart and Petco. No generics though. • Clean paws! No more disgusting footprints in the hallway. Her toe beans have never looked so perfectly clean and pink. She’s 20yo, so anything to help her hygiene helps her out. • No more litter everywhere. The pellets are too big for her to grip in her paws, so she can’t track them beyond the immediate vicinity of the litter box. • It’s easier to keep an eye on her health. Looking at her poop and seeing the color of her pee are good insights into her health and if anything changes, especially as she gets older. Also it’s really easy to use a dip strip indicator by just pressing it into the pee pad right after she gets out of the box. • The cover that flips back is great, compared to having to unclip the entire top each time. Makes cleaning out the poops easy, but keeps things covered and out of sight. It’s a small detail but it’s helpful. • Since there’s no regular litter with clay to conceal, the dried poop can just be tossed down the toilet. Makes it easier to clean more often. • Since the pellets dry everything out quickly and the pee is absorbed by a pad in the lower tray, the box just needs to be washed in between each batch of pellets, so about every 6 weeks. • Even with buying brand name pads and pellets, the annual cost of litter stuff is way, way lower than having to buy litter frequently. • Miss Kitty adapted to the new system right away. Fortunately, she’s never been picky when I’ve changed litter brands. I did a couple things for the first week to encourage her transition. I mixed a little regular litter in with the pellets for the familiar smell and feel. That shuffled out to the pee pad below over the week and then she was just left with the pellets. I put a couple old poops from the used litter in the new box, again to bring a familiar scent to the new system. And I left her old box out too for a week, but I left the used litter in there to discourage use of it. She was a little unsure the first evening, but after the first use, she never went back in her old box. • For people who are disabled/limited by lifting weight, picking up a 7lbs bag of pellets is way more feasible than 20-40lbs of litter or a box of used litter. Cons: • The Tidy Cats pellets and pads are pricey. That said, they are worth it for how well and how long they work. Some reviews talk about washing the pellets to extend their lifespan. I tried it just once out of curiosity, using the pet enzyme cleaner and a thorough rinse. It’s just not worth the gross hassle so I never did it again. Tidy Cat must have a stranglehold on the pellets because I can’t find an off brand, and if I somehow do, they’re back ordered or “we don’t know if these will be available again.” I wouldn’t think zeolite (the mineral they’re made of) pellets would be hard to find a generic of, but I’ve yet to. Even the pet stores don’t have their own generic versions. I haven’t tried generic pee pads yet, but the Tidy Cat ones work so well I’m fine with paying a bit more. • The pellets can be noisy. Miss Kitty loves rustlin’ in the box and those hard pellets against hard plastic can be fairly loud. I think she paws at the litter more now because she’s trying to cover the poop but it pretty much sits on top of the pellets no matter what she does. We tried getting the equine pine pellets that are dirt cheap and supposed to break down once they’re wet. But Miss Kitty apparently loved shredding those so much she was spending extra time rustlin’. All we ended up with was a messy pile of pine powder that was too much to fit in the lower tray. We gave up after a week. So we’re back to the louder, more expensive Tidy Cat pellets, but the pros vastly outweigh the cons. We got used to the sound in about a week or two. • Stepping on a pellet with your heel can feel like stepping on a Lego. With all her rustlin’ Miss Kitty still kicks litter out of the box. We have a litter pad outside the box - the kind with sizable holes and two layers so it’s easy to clean up (got it on Amazon too) - and that really helps catch them, but there’s still usually a few in the vicinity. We just have to be on top of cleaning the loose ones up. Also pointing the box opening towards the wall instead of the walkway really helped. The tray can be flipped to open either way - same direction or opposite direction of the box opening. Never thought I’d be evangelizing cat litter, but here I am. TL;DR just get it. You won’t regret it.

First a bit of background.... We started using the breeze system 4 years ago when a new kitten introduced into our multi cat home wrecked havoc and pissing wars. She and the youngest tribe member were pissing everywhere in an attempt to establish dominance. The conversion to the breeze system was pretty effortless back then. I kept a regular box next to the breeze and pretty quickly they all showed their preference for the breeze. Now we've got five boxes around the house for four cats and we have 100% litter box compliance (we had to rehome the kitten who is now blissfully happy in a two cat house). When Purina announced the new hooded box, it wasn't actually a necessity but alas I admit, I am a sucker for new versions of great products. I wanted to use the hooded box in a more trafficked area of the house so the litter could be better hidden. The box with the hood is great. It looks small and I see that some folks say it is too small for their cats. We have two relatively small cats and two that are large. In the first week that this was put into use, it was by far the cats' favorite box and needed scooping and pad changing much sooner than the other breeze boxes. I haven't not as yet seen any out of the box splash. For those of you new to the breeze system, it is absolutely amazing. The pee stays on the pad below and almost never does the odor carry. The poop sits on top of the pellets or slightly under them if your cat buries it. The poop becomes hard shortly after landing on these pellets and it is a breeze (ha!) to scoop. The ONLY problem I ever encounter was a splash of diarrhea that require the box to be cleaned with water. But that would be true of any litter box hit with watery stool. The pads for these boxes have been ridiculously expensive (unless you purchase the scented pads which we all found pretty toxic). But now several companies seem to be making knock off pads so I noticed that purina recently dropped their price significantly. I'll be keeping an eye on this pricing to see if it lasts. BOTTOM LINE: Like other cat owners, I too have tried COUNTLESS litter systems over the year including expensive electric machines and actual toilet training kits for cats. (While I loved the toilet training and it worked superbly for one of the cats, the other one at the time refused to try it so we had to scrap the whole thing). For my money, this breeze system is the single best cat waste system. It is so easy to clean, doesn't require daily maintenance (unless you want to) and the cats love it. With the added hood it just makes the whole litter situation that much more discreet. Oh, and did I mention how much less expensive I've found this to be in the long run? Its a win win win.

When a kitty takes a really stinky poo, it is BAD for a bit, so I have gone and scooped a really smelly poo immediately. But, most of the time I never know a kitty has pooped, and this system is a dream. There’s no more litter dust over an entire room. There’s no more litter tracked alllllllllllll over. They do kick a few pellets out, but it’s few. I just run the floor sweeper and am done with it, but you could sweep them up and throw them back in. I did feel that one bag wasn’t quite enough, so I use a bag and a half. I have enough pellets for two full batches and wash them, rotating them out every 3 or 4 weeks. I scoop the poo out daily. Now for the pee, with four cats using one box, I change the pad out every 3 or 4 days. I start checking it on the third day. Our house has NO MORE CAT BOX SMELL!!!!! When it starts to smell a bit, it’s time to swap pellets and wash the soiled batch. But, even when they smell, you only notice it when you’re near the box. With all clay litter I’ve tried, the whole house stinks and the only solution is to completely dump the entire mess and start fresh, but that only lasts a few days even when you scoop daily. As for the smell of the pads, they smell like a wet disposable diaper, which I don’t find pleasant since I prefer cloth diapers, but it’s way better than the ammonia smell you typically have to deal with when cleaning the litter box. And, you literally deal with the pad for two seconds. As for maintenance, with regular litter, we scooped daily, had a heavy bag of clumps to deal with, they stink so bad that the bag had to immediately go to the outside trash, and then threw a little new litter on top. With the Breeze system, we scoop one little bag of poo each day and open the drawer to check the pad. If it needs to be changed, I slide the pad directly into the grocery sack I’m using for the poo, never touching it. Then pop in a new pad. I tie off the grocery bag and toss it in the regular trash. The pellets really do dehydrate the poo so that it isn’t stinky and the pads of pee don’t smell too bad either, so the tied off grocery bag contains it until the trash is taken out. It really is so much cleaner, less smelly, and easier to clean. As for cost, I’ve read that people think it’s more expensive, but I spent an average of $8 per week on clay litter with four cats (and our house stunk). While this box was more of an upfront cost, once I had my two batches of pellets (3 bags), the pads are less than $6 for a four pack at my local store, and I use two per week, so about $3 per week. I just ordered some generic pads here on amazon that would drastically lower this price if they prove to work well. But, if not, the breeze ones are still saving me money over regular litter. The negative, I have one kitty that isn’t a fan of the pellets and will choose a fresh basket of laundry or a towel, blanket, or clothing left on the floor. If we make sure to keep things put away, he uses the box.

I purchased this litter box after having purchased the multi-cat version several months ago. They are so easy to use --- pull out and change the pad once a week. Change the pebbles once a month. The feces are super easy and clean to scoop. Even diarrhea clumps nicely. Everything stays clean with no smells. The only negative is that active cats who cover their litter energetically can life pebbles out onto the floor, which is annoying. We have used litter robots for years, but, by comparison, the robots are clunky, hard to use (constantly breaking down, requiring frequent repair and trouble shooting, takes a few hours out of each week to do that, at least in our case), not clean (require frequent cleaning even when not breaking down), and one does have a constant smell of urine, and we do not know how to eliminate that. We have four litter robots, one in each room. We have five, but one twisted its wires and became unfixable. Maintaining these robots is costly. Bit by bit we are replacing them with the Fresh Breeze litter system. Fresh Breeze has the additional advantage of sitting on the floor, making it possible to be used by arthritic cats and cats with short legs and limited jumping ability.

I can't even count how many types and brands of litter I have tried, but it was getting ridiculous. I am pretty gullible, so anytime I saw an add for a litter that would "revolutionize" the way I lived with a litter box, I jumped on it. I tried PrettyLitter last, and HATED it. I saw an add for the Breeze and I convinced my husband to let me buy it to try. I am currently pregnant, and the smell of ammonia from pee will have me over the toilet right away. I got the Breeze and it changed our life instantly. The first thing I will say is that your cat might not love it right away. Especially if you have been using a clay or sand type litter, of the size of the pellets takes some time for them to adjust to. With that being said, don't give up because it is so worth it. I saw quite a few reviews recommending that people use airsoft pellets instead of the pellets provided, which I tried, and do not recommend. They will get EVERYWHERE. And because they are little balls, they are extremely difficult to sweep up since they roll everywhere. I have not used them in months and I am still finding them around the house. The pellets work just fine for me, and last over a month. One thing I LOVE about this that is unlike any other litter system is that you NEVER have to smell or scoop chunks of pee. I hate that with a passion, and I mentioned earlier, it makes me throw up. Our cat's litter box is in our bedroom (no other place to put it!) and I swear I have never once smelled an ammonia smell. The pee pad traps all the odor in it, and even when you have to change the pad, you can hardly smell it. On the topic of smells, the only downside is that the pellets do not coat the poop like other litters do, so the poop is a little extra smelly when you have to scoop it, but really, it's not bad at all. Overall, this is the best litter system on the market, unless you can afford one of those $1,000 self cleaning machines. Litter is never fun to scoop, and never fun to deal with. If only cats could go potty outside like dogs do, but alas, that is not reality. If you have been sucked into all the litter ads claiming they will change your life, don't listen to them. This is the only litter box you will ever want or need. Cheaper, less smelly, and easier to clean than anything else on the market. Get yourself a Breeze and stop wishing you don't have a cat any time you are forced to do litter duties.

Listen. All of the other reviews are true. This is single-handedly the best decision I ever made for my cat and for my family’s sanity. The litter does not smell at all. The pads don’t need to be replaced quite as often as recommended and they don’t smell like pee even after a full week or two of straight daily urination. Cats do not like to poop in this thing starting off, so mix the litter like they said and then just do away with your old box and mix the litter in the new one and they (should) take to it if you give them a week or two to use both boxes. It is loud, it does require more maintenance, but the tradeoff is so deeply valuable that I can say boldly I’ll sleep through a rocket shuttle takeoff outside my window if it means my bathroom doesn’t smell like litter. Some say you can reuse the pellets if you clean them and they’re probably right. It’s just such a cost effective and… effective-effective solution it makes you wonder if mankind was just on autopilot when making new litter. I’ve tried wood natural organic farm raised litter that smells like ammonia and sawdust when used I’ve tried tofu litter that didn’t smell too bad but developed a weird funk after a time I’ve tried standard clay litters and clumping litters that somehow stink up your ENTIRE house from the west wing of SOMEONE ELSE’S estate And this one by far takes the cake. I’ll clean it out once or twice a day because ours is in our bathroom so it’s easy to remember “when I go, check if the kid went too”. And it’s been great. It is a bit bigger than my old litter box so I couldn’t put the hooded version right beside the toilet like I (and my cat) am used to. This made it a little harder to transition to. But it’s better on all accounts. Just buy it and save yourself a ton of money. That is all.

Our cat needed a new litter box for medical reasons, and I came across the Breeze System. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it since I’ve always used regular litter boxes with traditional cat litter, but after just a few days, I knew it was a total keeper! The pellets: They last an entire month! No more changing litter every week! They’re completely dust-free, and because they’re larger, they’re easy to toss back into the box if they end up on the floor. They do the same as litter when it comes to masking the poop orders. 👍 The pee pad: This is the real game changer. The pad holds so much cat pee, and you can’t smell it at all, even when it’s full and ready to be changed. Depending on your cat, you might not need to change the pad for up to two weeks. (My cat tends to pee in one corner, so after the first week, I just rotate the pad so it lasts another week. Easy fix!) The maintenance: Before, I had to empty, scrub, and refill my litter box every single week. Now? I scoop poop once or twice a week, change the pellets monthly, and swap the pee pad every other week. That’s it! The fact that the pee drains onto a pad instead of sitting in litter makes all the difference. My Cat: He seems to love it too! He had zero issues switching to the pellets, and it keeps his paws so much cleaner. I’m pretty sure he loves that part as much as I do! I used to seriously consider getting an automatic litter box because I hated cleaning ours so much but with the Breeze system, I honestly don’t even think about it anymore. And if you knew me, that says a lot! If you’ve read my whole review, just take my word for it! I recommend this box 10000%! Get it now, you won’t regret it!

tldr; Three stars for non-breezy litter issues. In fairness, these same issues apply to the non-hooded version, but they're still problems. Find me a great pellet solution and it's five stars. Average: four. I erred on the side of length for those of us who want more details. I've started to write this review a number of times, but never hit 'submit.' It's a hard product to review, because most parts are great, and the critical part needs negotiating. In general (between the 2 available models) this system is a fabulous idea. My cats much prefer hooded litter boxes, so I was pleased when Purina finally introduced this version. It's well made of sturdy plastic. It's a ... uh, breeze, to put together. I can remove the hood and put it back on easily, and the securing part hasn't gotten looser or broken yet (I'd have to work hard to break it). The hinged hood that allows the opening to swing up without having to take the top off makes cleaning much, much easier compared to litter boxes with solid hoods (my former go-to for years). Overall, the box has a lower profile, yet my big, rough-and-tumble, cat has no problem fitting inside. To assemble, put a "diaper" pad in the lower tray to catch the urine that flows over the stone-like, pellet "litter." (Amazon brand pads are every bit as good and are cheaper.) Expect to go through at least two pads a week. The tray easily slides. Put the slatted-litter-holder on top, then the hood atop that, attaching it on both sides. The set comes with a scoop that fits unobtrusively on the side. I can't manage the lifting and crouching to clean out clay-filled, heavier litter boxes anymore, so this is like a dream come true. Because I can just swivel the hood open, I am far more inclined to clean it daily, which helps keep odors down. The biggest problem is the pellet litter you're supposed to use with the system. It's made from a non-porous, heavy, tube shaped, stone-like material. Each piece is about 3/4 of an inch. (Some people worry the pieces can pose a choking hazard to cats.) The idea is urine flows over the pellets, through the slats, onto the absorbent pad underneath, and as long as you change the pad frequently, you greatly reduce odor. Poop sits on the top so you can simply scoop it out and dispose of it (I use a small, hooded trash can). In theory, you don't need a deep layer of pellets (and boy, are they heavy and expensive!), and you only need to replace them about once a month. They look attractive in the system. Beyond that, they're a big headache. The pellets may not soak up urine, but they do get coated with it, and the only way to deal with that is to rinse them off. This leaves you with a litter tray full of slow-drying, wet pellets. Or you don't rinse them, and the urine odor builds up and you change the pellets more often. Poop doesn't just slip and slide off the pellets. Even if your cat produces properly formed, properly soft stools, you are simply going to throw away all the pellets that stick to it. If your cat is a coverer, then you lose even more pellets. My bag just doesn't last a month. Because you don't have many pellets in the tray, you've got nothing to push against to make sure all the stool makes it onto the scoop. So 1/2 the poop drops back into the litter (pick it up again) or you use the side of the tray, which sorta works, but you'll want to clean the sides to remove smears. Where the litter part of the system really lets you down is when your cat develops a case of diarrhea or gets wormed. You're dealing with slush, in these situations, and the pellets truly don't work. Some slush will slip over the pellets and onto the urine pad. Some slush will stick to the slats. Most of the slush stays on top of and between the pellets. You can't leave soiled pellets in the tray. Forget the odor, forget the smearing on slats and sides, you may be trying to get rid of worms and would prefer not to reinfect your cat (unlikely, but it can happen). When I've been left with this situation, I take the litter tray to the tub, use the hand-held shower head to rinse everything, return the tray and set a fan nearby in the hopes they'll dry faster. Nope. This part isn't a breeze. As for dust problems, none. The pellets I got have absolutely no fragrance (which I preferred). However, one cat grab the pellets and tosses them out. So I still wind up inadvertently stepping on something. And with diarrhea, my two, both neurotic coverers, simply can't avoid tracking some. I've since tried farm-store pine pellet animal bedding. It absolutely works better than the stone pellets, and it's "greener." The wet ones break down into sawdust and sift down to your urine tray. It's not a huge loss when the pine pellets stick to any variety of stool ... I can get a 40lb bag for $5.00 locally. The piney smell doesn't last as long for me as it seems to for some people, but for that price I don't even mind changing the whole litter tray once a week. Trouble is, one of my cats finds the pine pellets unworthy of consideration. I'm looking for another solution for the picky cat. I'm about to try Yesterday's News, also by Purina, much less expensive than the stones and still "green." If I could just find a good pellet solution, I'd be giving this system five stars. Guess how many fingers I have crossed right now?

Interessantes Konzept, diese Cat Breeze, haben wir uns gedacht. Oben feste Pellets, Urin rinnt durch ein Gitter und wird von einer Matte aufgesaugt. Diese muss laut Hersteller nur ein Mal wöchentlich getauscht werden (pro Katze), Stuhl ist selbstverständlich trotzdem mit der Schaufel zu entfernen. Das interessante Konzept ist aber auch das einzige, was an der Toilette toll ist... Nun muss dazu gesagt werden, dass wir zwei Freigänger haben, die aber gerade im Winter gerne viel Zeit drinnen verbringen. Der Toilettengang wird überwiegend draußen erledigt (erfreulicherweise in Nachbars Garten und nicht in unserem). Unsere Kater bleiben jedoch nachts immer im Haus und nutzen die Toiletten dann, um uns großzügigerweise nicht zu wecken. Toilettengänge finden also nicht annähernd so oft statt, wie bei andere Katzen und daher müssen wir die Matten nicht so oft wechseln, wie vielleicht andere Katzenbesitzer. Länger als ein paar Tage habe ich mit dem Wechsel aber trotzdem nie gewartet, da unsere beiden Kater bereits nach einem Toilettengang keine Lust mehr auf die Toilette haben. Da gehen sie lieber aufs andere Klo (herkömmliche Bentonit-Streu), obwohl der Kollege schon ein Ei reingesetzt hat...Trotzdem entsteht viel mehr Müll als zuerst angenommen! Wir haben das Set im August 2023 gekauft, Wartezeit war länger als angegeben, da Import aus den USA. Die Streu gibt es in Europa auch nicht zu kaufen und muss jedes Mal aus den USA importiert werden. Und das ist mein Hauptgegenargument, denn nun stellen Sie sich Mal vor, Sie müssen jedes Mal, wenn Sie die Streu wechseln ein paar Wochen warten... Von den Matten gibt es günstigere Alternativen, aber für die Streu habe ich bisher keine Alternative gefunden. Ich habe es schon mit allen anderen Pellets auf dem Markt (Kanincheneinstreu, Tofu-Pellets, CatsBest etc.) probiert, aber alle verkleben das Gitter, sodass es die Reinigung noch aufwändiger werden lässt, als bei einem herkömmlichen Katzenklo (da hab ich gedacht, ich bin ein Sparfuchs und wurde eines besseren belehrt)... Nur eine Streu habe ich gefunden, die dem Original näher kommt (Zeolith), aber die kommt aus GB und seit die nicht mehr in der EU sind, sind alle Lieferungen mit Vorsicht zu genießen (eventuell Rücksendekosten etc.). Außerdem ist sie nicht wirklich günstiger (ein Paket 45€), der einzige Vorteil ist, dass sie schneller da ist, als die Pakete aus den USA. Dazu muss ich auch sagen, dass man beim Pelletskauf höllisch aufpassen muss und die Preise nur mit Mühe vergleichen kann, da manche Händler Liter angeben, manche Pfund und nur wenige Kilo. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist die Größe der Toilette. Unsere Kater sind alt (15+17) aber nicht groß. Sie passen gerade Mal so unter die Haube. Ja die Toilette ist kompakt, aber man muss halt auch eine kompakte Katze haben. Das einzige was ich an der Toilette gut finde ist: Sie hat ein tolles Design. Aber ich bin keine Toilettensammlerin und daher ist das auch kein Pluspunkt. Fazit: Alles in allem kann ich nur sagen, dass die Toilette der absolute Reinfall ist. Es gibt keine Vorteile. Hände weg! Machen Sie nicht den gleichen Fehler wie ich und denken, Sie sind ein schlauer Fuchs... Andere Streu funktioniert hier nämlich ganz einfach nicht. Wir kaufen jetzt eine automatische Toilette und hoffen, dass das besser klappt. PS: Wer will mir ein schickes Sammlerstück abkaufen? ;)

I love, love, love this litter tray system. I have tried everything available over multiple cats - clumping clay, recycled paper pellets, crystals, and finally pine pellets. The pint pellets were the best out of that lot but still a pain to keep up with. Enter the Breeze system. Sooo easy to use. I remove the turds and rotate the liner tray once a day. Every 3 days I remove the just soaked liner pad and replace with a new one. No need to clean as nothing has seeped through to the tray. The pellets only need to be topped up periodically and replaced totally once a month or so. Plus NO SMELL! AT ALL!!! We live in an apartment and the litter box in in the laundry off the galley style kitchen. No urine smell EVER and minimal poo smell except when freshly done (no cure for that). But the pellets quickly dry them out to make it easy to turf. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is the best litter system we have ever used after trying many different types of litter. It’s very easy to clean, it doesn’t stink, and there’s no mess around it. However, this system might not work for all cats. Our young cat had no problem switching from regular clay litter to this system, but 16-year old cat refused to use it even when we removed her old stinky litter box. Another issue is when your cat has loose stool - it’s very hard to clean and pellets needs to be replaced which becomes expensive. Other than that I highly recommend this system. It is time and money saving for you.

This is a must have never had an issue odours to a minimum clean up is easy and the pellets may be costly but last a long time tip buy the suitable pellets not cheap and you will be very happy
