Need improvement in measurement

Sizing guide is way off. Great coats if get right size but skip the guide unless you're "slim" cut.
I've ordered two of these coats. They are great coats but the sizing guide is way off. I'm 188cm (6'2") with 42" chest and was 81kg (12.7 stone) for the first coat I ordered a Large. It was a snug fit couldn't wear it over heavy jumper or sports coat. Using the sizing guide for 42" bust I'm between a Small and Medium. Wouldn't be able to get into it. Sizing guide is 10" off for chest/bust. I gained a few kg and the coat was pulling at the buttons. Now at 84kg (13.2 stone) and decided to order a 2XL. It's a good fit, no pulling and room for a sport coat or heavy jumper. Probably could get by with an XL but the 2XL is good fit although sleeves a tad long. Sizing guide says my chest should be 51" for 2XL but it's a good size at 42". Great coats otherwise, heavy wool, quilted insulated lining, hood and front extra lining is thick and blocks the wind. Good overall quality. Only issue is the sizing guide it's totally inaccurate.

Ich habe mir den Mantel für den Winter bestellt und bin total begeistert. Er hält auch an kalten Tagen warm und sieht sehr gut aus. Duch den zusätzlichen Reißverschluss kann man ihn zumachen und hat genau das Zwischending zu warm wenn er komplett geschlossen ist und zu kalt wenn er offen ist. Die Passform ist super, hab ihn bei 184cm und 84kg in L bestellt und er passt sehr gut. Was auch positiv ist, er riecht bei auspacken überhaupt nicht nach Chemie! Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Mantel in einer außergewöhnlicheren Farbe. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
