Best Budget Mic I have Ever Tried
This Microphone is a great Budge Mic for anyone that is looking to improve audio quality, its small form factor and the fact that it is a USB Mic means it is very portable and very accessible for many devices, form PC's to Phones and Tablets it is a decent choice. I personally was actually surprised by the sound quality, it was crisp and clear and had very little background noise to it. I tested it both on my pc, and on my Moto Droid Turbo using a USB adapter, whereas on the PC the sound was good, it sounded a little flat but that just may be that I am used to a Dynamic Range Mic running through a mixer for most of my video recording needs. It really shined when I hooked it to my smartphone the difference between the onboard microphone and the k053 was night and day, the onboard mic picked up an almost overbearing amount of background noise from my house, that I myself can not even hear, whereas the K053 was pristine. In short for its price range it is a great buy, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends if they asked about a budget mic. EXCELLENT, but delicate
This is a high performance microphone and as soon as I started using it, I received compliments on how clear and lifelike my voice was on Zoom calls, etc. It's also just cool to have a nearly invisible lapel microphone, it looks very professional compared to a headset. The size of the USB dongle is fairly large but there is a good reason. It has a 3.5mm output jack and a USB sound card built in. The audio out uses echo cancellation, so that means you could use large desktop speakers with this microphone and not experience echo. (I use wired earbuds, so I can't confirm the anti-echo performance. But the audio out jack is very handy for my wired earbuds.) The only downside is, as a high-performance microphone, you need to handle it carefully. Do not throw it around like you would a pair of earbuds. I did 2 things that broke it: (1) I removed the foam windscreen so the mic would be less visible in calls, and (2) I dropped it on the floor quite violently by mistake when I was grabbing it by the cable. The next day it did not work. However, it turns out Fifine has excellent customer service for a (presumably) Chinese company. I explained the situation and they shipped me a replacement in a matter of days. I like this microphone so I will take better care of it this time!

Great Mic for on the go people
So I was sent this microphone for review. I generally that I have found most of the ones offered are omni directional and are mono. My current microphone for my audio and video editing workstation is a USB Marantz Professional MPM-2000u. It is a great mic and I love it however it is one of those mics that meant to be left at a recording area. So I have been consistently looking for a good option for recording when I am out and on the go, but still need decent audio quality. I was able to find that with the Fifine mic. So let's get into the pros and cons Pros: +Cost- For the quality of the mic the cost is extremely good and affordable +Sound Quality- the background noise that this picks up in much less than many of the other lavalier mics I have used in the past. +USB plug and play- This mic worked out of the box on Manjaro Linux (which is my recording workstation OS) this also was plug and play in Windows 10 as well. +Headphone jack- attached to usb adapter for microphone. +Build quality- is quite solid nothing bad or questionable about that +Works on Linux- Being that all my YouTube content is made on Linux this is a HUGE plus to me that I can not even begin to put into words. Cons: Size- the mic will be very noticeable it is much bigger than those offered by say Audio Technica Sound quality- I know I put this as a positive, but lavalier microphones, from my experience, of ereally really high audio quality cost way too much. So while this picks up far less background noise than say a other lav mics it still does pick up some. So overall my impression of this microphone has been extremely positive. This has been used for gaming and chatting on Mumble, Discord, video conferences on Zoom as well as in my a/v production for YouTube. It has unchained me from always having to record strictly at my studio and has allowed me to have decent audio quality on the go at an affordable price. That level of freedom at this price and quality is really hard to find much wrong. Well done Fifine, you have earned yourself a new customer who is looking forward to your other products.

Very good build and audio quality!
I've been using regular microphones for the last couple years and never tried a lavalier mic. First of all, this is a perfect microphone to experiment with since it's not very expensive. But on top of that, it feels very premium. The microphone does not feel flimsy, it feels strong. The clip also feels very solid. The setup process is basically nothing, you just plug it in. That's it. The audio quality is alos very good. I did notice that it picked uo a lot of background noise, but if you use it with a program like Audacity, you can block out most of the background noise and keep the good stuff. (Audacity is free by the way) I really like how Fifine added a headphone jack into the USB. However, I wish it would've added some extra functionality. I believe you can only listen to the audio after you've recorded it. I though that with the headphone jack, you can listen to a preview of the audio as you talk, but that's not the case. It's not a huge deal for me, but that would've probably save some time for the people who commonly change settings for their recordings. Great product overall, I would definitely recommend it! Pros -Build Quality -Audio Quality - Setup Process - Headphone Jack Cons -Background noise pickup (easily fixed with Audacity)

I really wanted to love this (
I have been putting off writing this review because I purchased this with such high expectations. There were so many positive reviews and samples on Youtube that I thought it was a homerun. It just isn't. The main purpose of my purchase was to improve sound quality over the microphone array that comes standard on my Surface Pro during web conferences and for some video voice over. Pros 1.) Price - It's a $15 lavalier mic, so if budget is your main concern, this is an important pro. 2.) Easy of Use - Plug in the USB, wait 30 seconds for the drivers to download and it's ready to go. 3.) Ok, it does sound better that the onboard microphones that comes with laptops. Cons 1.) SOUND QUALITY !!! - Yes, it does sound better than onboard microphone, but that's about it. My voice is very muffled. I have a baritone speaking voice and it doesn't pick up the low frequencies very well. In comparison, I have a 3.5mm freebie lavalier microphone that came with my TASCAM DR-05 recorder that sounds infinitely better (and it was free!) 2.) Audio Jack - It's a good idea on concept, but this comes with an audio jack. As soon as you plug in the USB, it hijacks sound output, so you MUST plug into it's 3.5mm jack. I don't like this. 3.) Microphone is too sensitive - This might be why my voice is so muffled. The purpose of lavalier mics is to have the microphone close to the speaker so that ambient/surrounding noise is not picked up. But this microphone will pick up a door closing two rooms away. It's way too sensitive for a lavalier. If I hate this so much, why did I give it 3 stars instead of 1? Because it's a $15 dollar microphone. For the price, you can't go wrong. But, if you want any type of quality, look elsewhere.

Mixed Bag: Impressive Sound Quality but Reliability Concerns
Sound Quality (5/5) The most crucial aspect of any microphone is its sound quality, and the Fifine Lavalier doesn't disappoint. It captures audio with remarkable clarity and precision. The microphone consistently delivered crystal-clear audio. Ease of Use (4/5) Setting up the Fifine Lavalier was a breeze. It's a plug-and-play microphone, so you simply connect it to your computer's USB port, and you're ready to go. The long cable length gives you plenty of freedom to move around during recordings . Build Quality (2/5) The microphone feels solid and durable; however, I encountered a significant issue with the microphone's reliability. Regrettably, my positive experience took a turn for the worse after about 10 minutes of usage. The microphone suddenly stopped working, and no matter what computer I tried it on, the issue persisted. This unexpected and seemingly irreparable malfunction was extremely disappointing. I tried it an hour later, and now it's working again (For whatever reason) I have no clue how long it will stay working. I guess time will tell. As of now, since it stopped working out of the blue, I don't trust it much, but I hope I'm wrong. If, in the next few days/weeks, it remains working and stable, I will change my review to five stars. But then again, it's already giving me a bad taste Value for Money (3/5): Considering the remarkable audio quality but taking into account the reliability issues I encountered, I have to reassess the value for money. If the microphone had maintained its functionality, it would have been a steal, but the recent malfunction has left me with reservations. At this point, I don't recommend it yet!

Great
I've been using this for a while, for video calls, and it's been great. I have a soft voice, but haven't had any problem with people hearing me, and I don't have to fuss with the position to get it that way. One of my telehealth providers noticed a big improvement on the first call using this. It has its own processing, including background noise filtering, that works really well. The only compatibility issue I've had is that Zoom has noise cancelling in the software, and if I don't turn that off then it can cause a short bit of silence when you first start talking. I was in a call where someone was asking me yes/no questions, and couldn't hear my answer until I turned off Zoom's noise reduction. The dongle is kinda big (what you plug into the USB port), and I wish it had some software to change settings, but I've been really happy with it. Update: the cord gave out after a year of using it 1-2x/week, sitting still at my laptop and keeping it in its original box. It cuts in and out with the slightest movement of the cord (mostly out).

You Will Not Believe The Quality Of This Microphone... IM NOT KIDDING!
Wow... Just Wow... What Else Is There To Say About The Fifine K053... This Mic Met, Exceeded, Then Exceeded The Already Exceeded Sound Quality you Would Expect From A Mic This Size And For This Price. The Mic Came With An Instruction Manual, The Mic, And That's About It, Pretty Straightforward, Good One Fifine! When Buying A Mic, You Want The Best Quality You Can Get, Without Breaking The Bank. I'm Sure Many Have Considered This Option, But Have Probably Not Gone Through With It Because They Think It Will Sound Bad, Well No... Those People Missed out On An Incredibly Good Deal, For An Item That I Think Is Just As Good As My Blue Yeti! When I Plugged This In, It Automatically Showed Up, Props To Fifne For Not Requiring Any Drivers Upon Plugin. At First I Didn't Hear Myself From The Headphone Jack, But After Reading The Manual, I Fixed The Issue. I Then Heard, A Sound I Did Not Expect. I Heard My Voice. Just My Voice. No Hissing, No Background Noise. Just. My.. Voice... I Know What You're THinking, It's Just A Clipon Microphone Smaller Than A Quarter, How Good Can It Be? Oh Well My Friend, It Was Astonishing To See How Much Microphone They Put Into Such A Small Body... Now, One Thing To Note Was That The Sound Of The Mic Is Fine When Clipped Onto A Shirt, But It Definately Sounds Better When The Top Of The Mic Is Pointing Towards your Mouth. The Only Thing I Can Say Is This. If You Are Looking For A $10 - $40 Clipon Mic, Or A Mic For Gaming, YouTubing, Or Just A Mic In General, I'd Say This Is The One TO Go With... I Love It.
