Well we wanted a super powerful, sturdy torch, and this is exactly what we have here, in fact it actually exceeds expectations. There is a really good weight to this flashlight, so certainly sturdy, and able to withstand knocks, and drops. We are given the option of using the large rechargeable battery, provided, or a holder is in the kit for standard batteries (3 x AAA), I chose to use the rechargeable battery which appeared to be fully charged when the kit arrived; recharging cable also included, but haven't had to use it yet. Just above the press on/off switch is four small lights, an indicator of current battery power. I'm using the strong adjustable wrist strap and a tight grip; I switch on, and the whole garden is flooded with light; the torch is certainly very powerful; with three light modes, and two flashing emergency lights, adjustable by pressing this button. It is also telescopic/zoom at the front end, for either close up, or far distance light. Feels super strong and sturdy, provides a very bright light, and the rechargeable battery is a real bonus we thought; certainly one of the best torch lights we have ever used, delighted with purchase. Probably a little more than we usually spend on this torch light, but worth every penny; something I would expect to last for years.

Wow! This wee torch sure packs a mighty punch! Way beyond my expectations- bought it to replace a similar sized torch that we only ever use to find our Westie when it’s bedtime and she’s hiding somewhere in the garden. We managed to leave the original torch somewhere on a recent holiday, reluctantly bought this ‘cheap’ replacement- stunned by the power of it - could light up the whole village if we chose to do so, and when you close the aperture down to zoom-in mode it’s fantastic at spotting wildlife in distant fields, in total darkness. Can’t recommend highly enough: well made, rugged construction and, of course rechargeable which saves on batteries

Only used it a few times but seems strong and very bright better than I thought it would be.

This Glarylight torch is the best that I've ever had,it feels strong long lasting quality as you hold it, where other torches have a bright center with lots of weak light surounding it this torches lense delivers even bright light light throughout it's wide beam, after I slid the front forward the beam reached the forest that is about half a mile away, it as got to be one of the best torches that you can buy.

I bought this torch for myself & it’s absolutely brilliant!!!…..so bought another for my friend….it was nothing like my original one…..no weight to it at all, wouldn’t fully charge & the silicon bung for the charger just kept falling out….had to pay to send it back & never received a refund….I would have kept it but it would have just gathered dust at the back of a drawer….. extremely disappointed & out of pocket….

I was looking for a new a new torch that was more powerful than the one I had. I saw this and ordered it as the information was impressive and the reviews good. Reasonably priced the torch arrived and I discovered it was easy to set up and worked well. The rechargeable battery is easily charged, everything required + instructions were all in the box! I couldn't wait for it to get dark, out I went and was amazed by the power of the torch, the brightness and range is awesome! There are different functions and the beam is also adjustable. It's well made and strong without being too heavy, the carry strap makes it easy to transport. Attractive appearance, I would certainly recommend this torch!

Initially i was very happy with this product, great brightness and great quality feel to it. Unfortunately after just over a year it's stopped charging. It's probably only used a couple of times a month, not sure if this is bad for the battery life, but i would have expected for the price for it to last longer. After contacting the seller and sending them pictures to show the device was in good condition but not working I have been sent a replacement - Excellent service, good to their word on the 5 year warranty, very happy with my replacement.
