Hella 7" Round E Code H4 Halogen Replacement Headlight Kit with Standard 60/55W H4 Bulbs

These Headlights compared to the stock JK headlights are night and day...literally! These replacement headlights take the JK's "driving through a rainstorm at night holding a match" headlights and actually give you the visibility you need. They are an almost direct replacement ( you still need the H13 to H4 adapters). They were easy to install and were up and running within minutes. Unlike LED headlights, you do not require an anti flicker harness with these. Additionally the front lenses are flat and made of glass. Always check your aim when you have changed out your headlight with different ones, but my beam pattern did not change with these, so once they were installed, they were ready to go. These were full kit sets, headlight, bulb and weatherproof boots. The only additional items to get this set up and running on my JK was the harness adapters.

Well made, easy install, and MUCH better beam and brightness than the Sylvania's I had been running. I didn't expect much from the included bulbs but they are PLENTY bright! The nice thing about this kit is IF you want to upgrade to LED later down the road, all you need to buy are the appropriate bulbs. NOTE: I also highly recommend the headlight switch bypass wiring kit, found elsewhere on Amazon. This in itself is a huge upgrade and with ceramic plug ins, you are ready to go with high temp bulbs down the road.

I swapped the stock Wagner halogens for this Hella product. Most of the roads I drive have illumination but I did notice the difference immediately. My Wrangler sits higher than most cars so I was concerned about the brighter lights blinding oncoming drivers, but that is apparently not a concern. On unlit roads with no oncoming traffic, the high beams are fantastic. The quality of the light for both low and high beams is whiter and brighter. This is a quality upgrade and worthwhile mod.

Reasonable price and an improvement over standard bulb but not as good as my old Cibies. Fit my Porsche 944 perfectly.

No improvement of stock jeep headlights

This worked perfectly for me. The plastic lenses on the OEM headlights were frosted from debris hitting them and leaving dark patches. These are flat glass and have a great old school Jeep look. The spread is so much better, particularly for the high beam, it's outstanding. Please read notes below to install. 1) You have to get the adapter harness, find it here. 2) You have to remove the grill, pop the plastic tabs out with a slotted screwdriver, then from the front, take your hand to the bottom of the grill and pull along the length of the grill every few inches to pop it out, you'll hear and feel it when you get it right, doesn't take that much pressure. Just let the grill rest there but don't put too much strain on the wires to the turn signal lamps. 3) When you take off the silver rings that hold the lens you need a small torx driver to remove 4 screws, not a phillips screwdriver, magnetized is better. The screws again are very small. 4) To disconnect the power cable you have to slide the red clip away from the bulb, then push down on the tab behind the red clip, comes right off with no pressure. 5) When you put on the new lens, it is keyed by 3 metal staples in the back. You have to line them up in the slots or it won't fit. It's a little fiddly for one set of hands, but you can do it.

Installed a while back and worked good. Finally got to order in new leds and holy bat crap. beam was great nice cut off. i adjusted little lower due to the led brightness i ordered. i know im not blinding oncoming traffic as when i pull behind a car at lights im not lighting back of their car up till im close. but i can see everything in the road and the signs on right side of road i can read better than daytime. I love that these were glass and from hella otherwise i wouldnt have bought them. fit into my 71 camaro with the boots on back with just a little opening of the hole in back of bucket. cut center out of boot and led slid right in. will get some road pics next time i get my son to ride along. no more front end alignments! worth every bit of the money for these and leds.
