I purchased the 128GB version of this SanDisk Ultra Fit drive about three months ago, and it has quickly become one of my most-used tech accessories. What makes this drive stand out: The compact design is brilliant. Once plugged into my laptop, it sits nearly flush with the USB port - so low-profile that I can leave it in permanently without worrying about it getting bumped or broken. This is perfect for expanding my laptop's storage without carrying around a bulky external drive. The speed is impressive. I regularly transfer large video files and photo libraries, and the transfer rates are noticeably faster than my old flash drives. Moving a couple of gigabytes takes minutes instead of the tedious wait I used to endure. The claim about transferring a movie in under 30 seconds is accurate in my experience with USB 3.0 ports. The 128GB capacity gives me plenty of room for documents, media files, and backups. I use it to store my entire photo library with space to spare. The password protection feature (via downloadable software) is a nice security touch, though I haven't personally needed it yet. Minor notes: The drive does get slightly warm during heavy use, but nothing concerning. Also, make sure you have a USB 3.0 port to take full advantage of the speed - it works with USB 2.0 but will be significantly slower. Bottom line If you need reliable, fast, and unobtrusive storage expansion for your laptop or other devices, this drive is excellent value for the money. It's become an essential part of my daily workflow. Highly recommended!

DO NOT USE WITH NVIDIA SHIELD PRO!!! I can’t prove it but I think this flash drive put my Nvidia Shield Pro into an unrecoverable boot loop. Even booting into the boot recovery menu and factory resetting continues the boot loop. When I put the drive into another Shield Pro it reports that the drive is too slow to use as storage. Never said that before when I first plugged it in and never had an issue with the 64gb and 128GB Lexar S47 flash drives so going to order another one of those. Maybe it’s fine as a regular flash drive on a PC/Mac but don’t risk it in an Nvidia Shield. See the other reviews who say similar things about these dying when used on a Shield.
