Arrived quick. Super easy to setup and operate for our electric fence. It provides a good shock for our 165' length mobile fence. No feedback on battery life yet....

So far this charger is working great to keep the deer and elk out of my garden area that I have raspberry bushes, small fruit trees and few tomato plants. They chewed one of my raspberries almost to the ground and broke branches on several of my apple trees. Now my plants are protected and will be able to grow without any more damage. Seems to charge even on cloudy days, so very happy so far with purchase. Son said was easy installation.

I am disappointed. Very disappointed! Although it presents itself as a good valve for the money, and certainly easy to use (set up) it, in my experience and opinion, sorely lacks the power needed to dissuade and deter certain predators. It is advertised as up to 10 miles, but the model I received states up to 2 miles. (That’s quite a disparity!). But my application is for a very small garden area to keep the deer away. To my surprise and utter disappointment it did not deter the deer at all! It was eating away on my squash plants. No doubt It would have done more damage, had the camera no activated notifying me some was there. (This was at night.) I hurried outside and shooed it way.

Easy to install on T post. Isn't very strong, have it around a small garden to keep deer and rabbits out. Works well, self contained unit.

Came fast and works great for containing small goats. It charged quickly and is very user friendly. Just connect to ground, connect to the fence and its ready to go.

Stopped working after only 1 year. So much for durability. Even when new it didn't put out nearly the charge that my cheaper plug in unit still does. I purchased a new battery to see if that that was the problem with it, but still completely dead even with a brand new charged battery. I guess it was well engineered since it did work just up until the warranty expired. I have no idea what the Day/Night mode ever was and just had it in Day mode all the time as I certainly didn't want to flip the switch twice a day. The one thing I liked about it is the mounting system that allowed you to just set it on any T-post post. The new model I bought to replace it with didn't come with a good way to mount to a T-post, but has much more power.

It’s easy to set up and IT WORKS. Im only using it for a 20 x 30 area but I have a big naughty Friesian filly that loves pushing her temporary stall around and I was at my wits end. I read the reviews and with them being mixed, I wasn’t sure but still ended up going for it. It came with the wires needed and battery. I opened it up, connected it to the battery and left it out in the Arizona sun for 3 days to charge. Bought the polyrope, plastic clamps and 6ft copper rod at my local tractor supply. I had t posts at home. For a basic set up, that’s literally all you need. Hammered the rod about 3 1/2 ft into the ground (mind you this is Az, it’s dry ground not moist as they recommend) set everything up and turned it on. It took her about a dozen shocks at different areas of the fence but she eventually learned 😅 My poor corso was also a victim but now she doesn’t eat the horse poop! It’s been a week, it’s held up charge. I can tell because she’ll test it occasionally 😂 it’s bulky in size but not as bad as the ones at TCS. So far it seems durable but time will tell. I think it’s priced fairly; I’ll update if anything but so far so good. I included how I set it up, I didn’t mount the unit as this is a temporary area but that doesn’t affect its performance.
