I love this. After doing it I have painted the wolf and bought the elephant. Paints didn't dry out even if a lid popped open over night. I did buy a small set of brushes to help with the smaller area but the ones they provide will do the job. Excellent for the price.

If you’re looking for something to occupy free time, this is it. Very time consuming BUT it’s really fun to see it all come together. I did a little each day. Great hobby

I bought this paint by number kit after my beloved yorkie passed away to help with the grief and it was the best thing I could have done, it was very therapeutic and relaxing! There was plenty of paint for each number and the colors are vibrant. Don’t worry about staying in the lines, using the wrong color or making sure the numbers are fully covered because none of that will show in the end. I still need to buy a frame for my picture but I LOVE my masterpiece!

Product I found was well made and enjoyable. I paint for fun as a side hobby and wanted to do something where I didn't have to make my own thing, and paint by numbers was a nice little relaxing "turn off the brain and just have fun" sort of thing I was looking for. I painted most of this while listening to podcasts. Now, since I do paint and own a bunch of paints on the side, I didn't exclusively use the paint given to me. I also added a few drops of liquitex pouring medium into some of the colours to smooth them out a little. The paint is very thick and chunky for some colours. I would, however say that generally the paint is good on it's own. I didn't use the black or white provided, though, using my own for that as there was quite a lot of black portion on it and I wanted to make sure to have good coverage. I found that number 17 they gave me was quite thin, and needed many coats to cover the numbers on the canvas, and even then I was never really happy with the coverage. I decided to add a small amount of brown to it from my own paints to thicken it up a little. I would say though, that if painting isn't something you do often and you just want something fun to do, go for it! It's a lot of fun for the price point and I will be ordering another one. :D

UPDATE: After my initial review, I reached out to the seller and they were very helpful in sending me more paint because several colors were too dry and hard to work with. Just based on the customer service I received, I am comfortable giving the sellers 5 stars. I have now completed the painting and its beautiful! Great price for hours of relaxing fun... and you end up with a nice piece of art too! A few tips for those looking to get started: 1) I ironed the backside of my canvas before getting started to get rid of all the creases. 2) The paint dries fairly quickly so be sure to not leave the lid open for long. If it does feel dry, add a few drops of water.

I started working on this piece today and even though I am just on one color, I find the activity calming. It takes quite a bit of focus if you want to do it neatly and will take a few hours to complete, however I am in for the ride. And am looking forward to seeing the finished piece. It is pretty straightforward to follow, the paints are numbered to the sections on the canvas, the print is small, especially on the back of the box, but key in and you'll be able to keep track. There is a sticker and a paper printout of the canvas included in the package, along with 3 paint brushes and some hardware to hang your canvas (but first you have to get a wood frame to which you need to mount the piece). I already know I would get another. Happy painting.

I did not realize that this was a thin canvas. It is one that you can roll up vs the firm white rectangle canvas. I thought it was going to be similar to a white canvas.

For my dad! 💜 My dad picked this one out. He has no idea I bought it, and finished it....easy to do. This is my 4th one I've done! Love all the colors!

We got two of these for christmas, it took a month to complete this project with a 10 year old boy and my 8 year old is almost finished as well. My kids are not particularily artsy... There a lot of very small details, it takes a bit of time to get used to the paint brushes. It was nice to see my kids get better and more precise with practice. The paint is nice and thick, there is enough to complete the project. It is thick but washes off very easily if you make a mistake. My only comment would be that the numbers and lines are a bit dark and sometimes show underneath the paint. But you can only see it from very close. Once hung on the bedroom wall in a frame, you really don't notice it. Great product! We got many hours of fun out of it!
