Had this for almost a year, 10/10 security is easy all around - easy to install, daily use. The weight is average and ability to quickly lock and use this is reassuring especially with all the tech gadgets out there. I highly recommend it. Worth the price and peace of mind to use a solid product effectively daily.

Bought it after my two year old learned to open the door. It’s perfect, it even keeps the eight year old safe and locked in!

Pros: -Sleek and Modern Design -Easy install with long screws for security -Locks in-place, versus just sliding over similar to one you would see in a hotel room Cons -Pretty hard to unlock. Part of the need of the install is to install it above the height that a kid can reach; however, you need to be able to grip both sides of the handle with your fingertips in order to unlock it. Thus, if it's too high, this becomes a pretty challenging move.

Easy to install. Looks great! It was a bit tricky at first to get used to pulling the lock part out and then over to open it, but once you do it a few times, it’s simple. Love the extra security it gives me while I’m at home.

Great child lock for toddlers who like to explore and traditional knob childproofing doesn't work. My kids could figure out the knob child locks, deadbolts, and gates pretty quickly and our son liked to explore and get into everything, especially at night. We wanted something that would lock the exterior door so they couldn't leave the house unexpectedly. It requires more strength/dexterity than a toddler has and more than what is required for other child safety locks (plus we mounted it high up) but easy for someone older to use. This fit our purpose perfectly and it has the added benefit of adding a bit of additionally security on top of the deadbolt and traditional lock. The only issue is that our door was painted and it's taken a bit of the paint off from the repeated motion, but that's something that can be easily fixed when it's removed.
