Awesome product, has done the job on daily driver for a long while now. Fixed issue caused broken hood release cable.

Easy to figure out after watching YouTube videos. Fixes the problem with the plastic parts coming loose. Looks good.

When this product is installed correctly, it does what it says it does. It keeps your hood in place. For how long? I will have to get back to you with the answer if or when it fails. Finding a spot on your hood to install this product is important for it's functionality and appearance. I wasn't cool with the fact that I had to drill into my carbon fiber hood so finding a product that didn't compromise the hoods integrity by drilling out too much material was very important in my decision to purchase this product. Adjusting the height of the pins so the hood sits correctly is time consuming with all the opening and closing of the hood so adjust in small increments one side at a time.

I never review anything on Amazon because why bother, but hear me out when I say this is exactly what I was looking for. If you look on Amazon for these "quick latch" type fasteners with insane made-up brand names, they're all very poorly made and will fail. I bought some "overlanding" tables for my SUV from a small fabricator and he used those cheap fasteners from Amazon. Every single one of them refuses to latch properly. I get it, he's trying to reduce costs but come on! Also, it's super dangerous if this is a part that's hanging on the outside of your vehicle. The brand name Quik-Latch fasteners are great but way too expensive. These hit the perfect balance of function and price. If you compare specs with the name brand part and this one, you'll notice that they are both stainless steel, not soft aluminum or chromed steel like the cheap stuff. Seriously great quality. Made in the US is a huge plus.

Moderate difficulty to install but once you got it, it's so easy to open when you want, no more jammed oem latch. Bug ro be fair it's a 1988 car, it was time to get a new one. Hope it holds up at full speed, it's doesn't flex with two points I installed.

Even the cost a lot more then "similar" offered ones and these come as a single, the worse every dollar you spent. I attached a picture next to each other for a quick release on the bumper cover. they click in and they hold! That's the reason I also used them to secure the carbon fiber hood. Highly recommend do not cheap out.
