Kenmore Elite 51773 28 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Accela Ice Technology in Stainless Steel

I've moved into the 21st Century. Looks amazing, very quiet, fantastic lighting. Even has accent lighting for water dispenser. Plenty of storage space for everything. Product won't be forgotten behind other product until it spoils. The ability to dispense water and ice simultaneously is unique. Accela ice feature has not yet been tested but increased ice production for filling cooling will save money and time. I have a small entry way (33") and removing the front door is all it took. The delivery men carried it right through with straps like it was nothing. (it weighs 307 lbs) I would very much recommend this product provided that it stands up to the Kenmore name.

Our refrigerator quit working after a year and a half.

We have had this refrigerator for less than a year and two of the LED bulbs have burnt out. Typically you would just replace bulbs but the maintenance book states that the LED lights can only be replaced by a technician. We called the service number in the care book that came with the unit. After 15 minutes on the phone explaining the problem and giving them all the product numbers, they finally said I needed to call a different number. After calling that number and going through the same process, they finally said that since it was purchased from Amazon, I had to call a third number. When I called it, it was just an automated message trying to sell me different products. Once I clicked through all the sales pitches, it finally just hung up on me. When I called back, I now receive a message the number is disconnected. Update: Finally got the lights replaced just before the warranty expired. Now three months later, the freezer side lights are out. What a piece of junk!

Excellent fridge. I've had it for four months now. Really enjoy how quiet it is, lots more storage than my old bottom freezer fridge, and it has a very good ice making machine. The kids enjoy getting water for themselves (my old fridge did not have a water dispenser). Highly recommend. Installation was great from Amazon.

Great kenmore refrigerator. Very stylish upgrade to our kitchen.

THE ICE MAKER STOPPED WORKING AFTER ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS. MY HUSBAND SAW THAT THE WIRES ARE AT THE HINGE IN THE FREEZER DOOR AND THE DOOR SLICES THEM. HE FIXED WIRES AROUND 4 TIMES AND EACH TIME ICE WORKS FOR A COUPLE MONTHS THEN SPLICES AGAIN. FINALLY, THE WIRING MUST OF GOT DAMAGED SOMEWHERE ELSE TOO BECAUSE THE DEFROST IN THE BACK OF THE FRIDGE KEEPS NOT WORKING AND WATER POOLS UNDER THE BOTTOM DRAWER. THIS EVENTUALLY CAUSES MOLD TO GROW IN THE BACK OF THE REFRIDGERATOR PART. SO THE GOOD- THE DESIGN INSIDE THE FRIDGE IS THE BEST OUT THERE!! I LOVE THE LIGHTING THAT IS IN THE FRONT AND SIDES (NOT THE BACK SO IT GETS COVERED BY ITEMS BLOCKING IT. I LOVE THE AMOUNT OF ROOM IN THE REFRIDGERATOR AND FREEZER. I DID HAVE TO REPLACE WITH A WHIRLPOOL (CLOSEST THERE IS) BUT IT SEEMS SMALLER AND THE LIGHTING IS HORRIBLE AND NOT AS MUCH SPACE! I REALLY WISH A COMPANY WOULD COPY DESIGN OF INSIDE AND FIX THE BAD DESIGN OF WIRING

The LED inside lighting provides excellent visibility throughout the entire Refrigerator, also the amount of usable space. Plus all the shelves are glass even in the freezer .
