A tad bit hard to see in daylight on a white hood but for a year now it comes on with the noise of the garage door opener and works every time.

worst piece of junk ever
I had one just like this for the last 10 to 15 years.... it worked FANTASTIC for all those years... it started staying on all the time and I was afraid it might start a fire, so I saw this and was happy they still make it..... well I was WRONG... this is not the same brand as my older unit... my old unit had a light that came on also so I could see when I got out of the car at night...... ... this is just two lasers and they are weak and don't angle very far..... my garage ceiling is 14 feet tall so I got out my 10 foot ladder and stretched to reach....this unit did fit in the same mounting bracket..... but the laser would not angle where the old one used to .... no matter what I did.. so I moved the bracket and cord several times but could not get it to hit both cars???? so I got some wood and screwed that up between the ceiling joists..... FINALLY after two hours of playing around I got it to hit my truck windshield.... AND IT WASN'T POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GO THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD!!!!!! it also stayed on all the time...... so I took it down and will try to buy a good one.... as this thing is just terrible!

Laser sensor doesn't work
The lasers work good. I use it to park my truck in a real tight garage spot. I put tape on the dash where the lasers point at to show me the correct location. However the laser stay on all the time I've looked through the window after it set for several hours and they always stay on so I have to unplug it whenever I leave and then plug it back in when I come home to park

Ensure prior to mounting the light beam can be adjusted to your selected spot, as there is limited movement of each of the light tubes
