Nice and durable. Very handy.

I’ve been doing a lot of work on my house trying to get it sold and I couldn’t find a complete set of drill bits in my boxes of tools. The ones I needed the most were missing. I got one of the least expensive on Amazon with quick ship because I needed it quickly and it came within a few days. I wasn’t worried about the quality because I’ll be donating these as soon as my house sells but they look like if I be careful they should last for the simple projects this senior plans to do. They don’t come in a box but I have lots of containers to put them in.

These are nice bits but the part that holds them in place is cheaply made and was broken straight out of the box.

I've had an identical package of these guys for several years, and due to my own carelessness, broke a few (I was bending the drill much too much while drilling holes at large angles & high speeds). My main use for these is for drilling with my impact driver and also with my drill bit extension tube, both of which obviously only accept hex bases. Now that it is time to replace them, I am super happy to have found these exact ones! These bits are made by some white label manufacture and a ton of amazon store fronts sell them for any given price they want with their own label slapped onto them. Interestingly, I also saw these exact ones at a certain big box hardware store (I don't wanna name it, but I think they really really like the color Orange) for $30, and for quadruple the price of this listing it didn't even have the extra bits that this listing is adding in. This particular listing was the most affordable option I could find and I am delighted to see that they appear identical to my old ones, in both the bits and the packaging.

Up-date: Replaced with Hercules brand hex bits which are not compression fit as are these. Each drill is fitted straight and true in the shank. Work perfectly. In this case, don't expect more than the price suggests. I always use straight bits but had a onetime need for quick change. All hex bits will wobble in the bit holder and contribute to breakage. I've never had hex bits separate before, but these bits are compression set into the shank. If you are looking for long-time usage from hex bits, get another brand and pay more. THE BIG PROBLEM with the set of bits I received is 80% of them are not centered in the hex shank and they have deflection. First, I tested my best cordless drill for deflection in the chuck. That being ok, I tested each of these bits directly in the chuck and found small to major deflection in 80% of them, small and large size bits. That means they will not bite or drill straight and are likely to break or separate from deflection in use. Some tips on tips: - start all drilling from small to large in sequence - start all holes in wood and metal with a set punch/awl - clamp or steady the work - grasp the drill firmly - draw your arms tight to your body when drilling to reduce lateral play These bits are what they are, inexpensive and unacceptable quality. For me, just to be fair, it's 1 Star.

I had to bite the bullet and get some drill bits as I keep splitting wood while making frames without pre-drilling holes. These come with standard sizes and a small pouch of metric-sized bits. The titanium carbide finish helps keep the bits sharp while drilling through wood, and maintains durability. They are easy to use and will chuck into anything capable of accepting a 1/4" hexagonal bit. The drill bits are functional and will easily roll through tough knotted wood. Decent set of bits for the price. Pretty straight, too. I don't see any wobble when I spin them in my drill.

Obviously from the photos, there are metric driver drill bits that don't have a holder. They come in a little bag. Not ideal for storing the bits. Not sure why they give a holder for one set but not the other. These bits do bend and now I have wobbly drill bits.
