Seem to work well. Low priced item that holds the drive snug. I didn't need to use the sticky pads provided. They might be spares. USB lead could do with being significantly longer.

Ordered this to be able to read an old SSD card. Very easy to use, can be used to Mac or normal PC as it has USB-C and normal ( USB-A) connector that is all attached ( so you can keep everything together). Description is very easy to follow. Little foam sticker included in case needed a lift for the drive to the connector. Unfortunately my SSD is too old and didnt read, but definitely works as the blue light came up immediately. Even though i couldnt use it for now, i keep it as its a very good product in case i will need an outer SSD for extra storage.

Works as intended and integrated cable is very handy, giving 4 stars not 5 only as the plastic cover is very tight fit to open and close, maybe will loosen over time. Useful spacers included for inside if slightly different size ssd’s

Super easy to use just insert the ssd and plug straight in. Transfer speeds are good and the adapter on the end is super useful for switching between multiple devices. Would recommend.

This was a very cost-effective way to give a new lease of life to an old 128GB SSD from a dead laptop. It's now a fast and convenient USB external drive. Fitting the drive to the new case was simple and didn't require any tools. The hardest part was sticking the correct foam packing piece to the right spot on the lid. There are two pieces, one for HDDs and one for SSDs - they are in labelled bags. The correct spot in the lid is also clearly identified if you look closely.

Best utility case for both of my MacBooks old and new.
