not quite sure what you mean by this --- do you mean you are going to wear it when you use a communal toilet ,why dont you just carry a little can of air freshener with you when you use the communal loo -but to answer your question , yes if you position it tightly over your nose and mouth it will prevent you breathing in a large percentage of unpleasant odours ------- hope this helps --

Doesnt reduce the odour, helps with dust only

I used this with some strong smelling undercoat/dampstop paint and di nothing to stop the odour at all.I wore it properly.On the plus side they are more comfortable than the normal dust masks

Mauvaise odeur du masque et irritation peau

Acheté pour limiter les COV (Composés organiques volatils) car pratique (Masque pliable) mais immédiatement à la pose sur le visage une mauvaise odeur du masque puis des irritations sur la peau. Masque pour moi inutilisable. Il y a un autre modèle 3 m non pliable (demie coque) bien mieux !
