Improved design that is thicker and less suceptible to cracking
Not sure where the negative comments are coming from. I have found that I have to filter out some negative comments on Amazon because tehre will always be those that have the luck of the draw of having a bad experience or some that just can't be satisfied. The original nozzle plastic shaft inside the metal cylinder cracked (from heat?). This let steam escape from the top where air is supposed to be sucked in to froth the milk. The new replacement has a thicker plastic shaft as an improvement to reduce the chances of cracking. I believe that some of the angst may be coming from the replacement of the upper nozzle and o-ring is not trivial. While I have plenty of mechanical experience, getting the old one off required more force than I would have thought (I needed to use pliers). Pay attention to the old parts as they come off. When installing the new upper nozzle, be sure to remove the old o-ring and install the new one over the threads of the end of the metal arm that swings out. Finally, when screwing on the new upper nozzle component, be sure to start the threads carefully to not cross thread and strip it. Be very gentle starting the threads to make sure they align. Once it is started, it may take a little more omph than you would think to get such a small component securely tight. It has to be tight enough to compress the o-ring. I have been using it now for several weeks and it works as good as the original. Given the thicker shaft where there old one cracked, I belive this one will last longer than the original.

Doesn’t last
Started having issues about a month of purchasing this part. Doesn’t work longer than a month. Just started using my expresó machine again but will have to look for another seller as this part from this seller doesn’t last.

Only a temporary fix
My original steamer nozzle broke (it was due to being stripped out). Bought this replacement and added loctite to it, which worked for a few months. Although after a few months, the cap cracked (It appears to be due to heat this time; not stripped for sure). So this was only a temporary fix. Buying a 2x nozzle is pointless... as it starting to cost just as much as buying a NEW Krups machine instead.

Better design, safer & easier to clean
After my OEM froth wand literally exploded like a grenade (not a safe product, IMO), I bought this replacement part. This design seems better, less likely to explode and cause injury and is easier to clean and remove. I've had it several months and it is working great. Too bad this wasn't the OEM part this unit shipped with.

Fine replacement
The old steaming unit's plastic top fastener mount cracked. This one works fine as a replacement.

Back to frothing my milk!
Now I can froth my milk again on my Krups. I just changed the long part (the one that has the metal attachment) I left the original screw (smaller nozzle) on my Krups. It works like new. So basically the plastic that holds the metal broke (melted) from too much use I guess. I bought this just to replace that part and it works well.

Indeed it is a piece of crap. Mine got broken after 3 weeks of use
Indeed it is a piece of crap. Mine got broken after 3 weeks of use. The threads in the connector got damaged from the heat I believe. The seller promised to exchange it one time. I am going to mail it back on Monday and wait fro the new one. Already wonder how the new one is going to last. I have no idea how to avoid the problem since the connector is always on. I never took it off (no need).

Excellent nozzle for cappuccinos
I own a small Krups espresso coffee machine and I bought this nozzle to replace the original one that got the plastic part broken. I can't be happier! It's way bigger than the original one and more sturdy. In around 30 seconds I can change a regular fridge-cold milk into a hot (70 degrees Celcius) full-of-foam milk.
