This book sucks. It's just a bunch of pictures and text talking about the advantages of algae farms. Doesn't go in to details on how to build/run a proper system. Misleading.

This is a one of a kind summary book of small scale algae farming methods and techniques. Anyone considering delving into this crop will get no shortage of information from this manual. It summarizes why algae is truly THE super food and what it has done and will do for peoples around the world. Truly a compendium of small scale algae production around the world. Also delves into some possible future uses of algae with scenarios of rooftop production and even vertical farms. A great place to begin a study of the subject. Only two minor criticisms. First is that in presenting material on so many subjects it doesn't get into a deep level of understanding on any one subject. Such is the nature of an introductory book on such a vast subject. This is mitigated by the excellent reference and resource sections at the end of the book. My only true criticism is that there is no index to the book. With so much information and so many subjects breached, this would have been most helpful. By my third pass through the book I just started creating my own index and this has saved me much time and effort when going back to review different topics. Thank you Henrikson for a great resource on algae.

This "book" is nothing more than a collection of magazine articles and promotional material. The paper and typesetting are of low quality. There is nothing of any practical use in this. Lacks scientific credibility. Very disappointing. I want my money back.
