I have been taking serrapeptase daily since April 2018. Since then, I have noticed a lot of improvements all over internally and externally. It definitely helps my sinuses...both with the inflammation and the mucus. Before serrapeptase, I usually was taking two or more medications 365 days a year and still didn't have full relief. (I used to live on antihistamines and decongestants in various forms and I often added benadryl and/or nose spray.) If I didn't take anything at all, I was miserable. However, even though I took medication, I didn't have full allerfy relief and still suffered. I haven't needed or used any allergy medication since taking serrapeptase. I am beyond thrilled to be off toxic drugs that weren't solving my issues anyway. I have multiple layers of scar tissue from two different c-section surgeries. If I feel around my tummy with my fingertips, I can feel that the internal scarring is dissolving. The outer scar on my abdomen (from the above mentioned c-sections) has improved and is less prominent. I have had a very sore spot from surgery/c-sec with my second child birth. My doctor said the pain was from the internal scar tissue. (It was a brutal surgery.) It has definitely improved since taking serrapeptase, but it is not 100% gone. Before serrapeptase I couldn't touch that area without pain. I had to press around today (late August) to even feel tenderness. It has definitely improved since the last time I checked that spot. The fibrous lumps in my breasts are better. (I have always had fibrous breasts and have never had any medical professional give me suggestions on how to improve them, so this was a wonderful result from serrapeptase.) A two-inch long keloid scar on my head has improved. It is less prominent, and seems to be slowly "shrinking" overall. (The scar is from nine stitches after a biking accident 35+ years ago.) I feel like the serrapeptase is helping with the cartilage and scar tissue in my knees....and all my arthritic joint pain. But, it is hard to give all the credit to serrapeptase since I also take an MSM/glucosamine/chondroitin supplement. In the past, when I would run out of my M/G/C, my knees and joints would be achy and I could tell I hadn't taken it. Since taking serrapeptase, I have been able to function with out the M/G/C. (The MSM makes my hair grow like crazy *everywhere* so I like to skip it when we go camping or on short trips in the summer.) I like the results of taking BOTH serrapeptase and M/G/C together. I haven't had any ultrasounds, CTs, or MRIs lately, so I do not know if it has helped the following, but my fingers are crossed there has been improvement.... Large fibroid in my uterus. Cysts on my ovaries. Scar tissue in my sinuses. It might be a lot to hope for after all improvements I have so far, but I am also hoping it helps with old acne scarring on my face, old chicken pox scars, and stretch marks. It may already be helping, but I haven't been monitoring any before and after results, so I am not comfortable saying the serrapeptase has helped those issues. I like this brand of serrapeptase because it is pure, without fillers. As a consumer, that is a very important factor for any supplements I take. I haven't had any negative side effects from taking this brand of serrapeptase. I did a lot of research before I decided to take serrapeptase. (Please do your own research and keep in mind not everyone will have the same results.) I take two capsules 2x a day, on an empty stomach. If you are looking for a good, clean, pure brand of serrapeptase, I definitely recommend BioMedic Labs SerraRX80. I order both the 180 caps and 90 caps - same product, different quantities/price.

I am skeptical of supplements that promote a wide range of use, but my pulmonologist recommended this to relieve morning asthma problems. Indeed, after several weeks, it seems that I cough much less and less severely than before. I didn't buy it for pain relief, but it also seems that I have less fibromyalgia and back pain too. This product is far less expensive (at least 50%) than what I was able to find locally.

I'm quite happy with this serrapeptase. Have been taking this brand since November of 2018. It's a lot easier for me to buy stuff in bulk. I started taking serrapeptase around October of 2018 for the fibrinolytic properties due to concerns with a mechanical heart valve I had installed in 2015. Other countries use this stuff, or variations of similar enzymes, to help prevent clots from growing in them. Some of the best data and articles I've found on it come from Germany and Japan. There's even an article out there somewhere about China putting fibrolynotic enzymes in the valves themselves. Dunno exactly how effective it is, but the science makes sense, and it makes me feel better. I haven't acquired any clot symptoms yet. And I don't seem to have any changes in my pt-inr with warfarin. Of course, I am not a doctor. I also found it useful for chest tightness when I was quitting smoking. Yea, smoking with a heart valve, terrible. Did manage to finally quit though. Smoked a pack a day for nearly 20 years. Anyway, I found it helped thin out the mucus and improved my breathing, even before I finally quit. Another benefit I had was with surface scars. I used to have thick rough scars on my arms for years from riding a bike through barbed wire when I was a teenager. They're still there, but they've gotten much flatter, softer, and lighter in color. Can now run a fingernail over them without catching anything. Had similar effects with the surgical scars from the valve implant. Those have probably gone down by 50% over the last year. Still a significant amount of scar tissue remaining. But I'll take what I can get. I typically take 2 to 6 capsules two or three times a week, depending on how I feel, on an empty stomach with a glass of water. And generally start feeling things within 15 minutes. My head starts to feel a little clearer, headaches lighten, minor pains throughout my body go away, I feel more relaxed, and my breathing improves. If I go a week or two without taking any, it's pretty noticeable. Serrapeptase will remain a permanant part of my supplement stack. Probably sounds cheesy, but this stuff really improves my life. I took serrapeptase first to help with sinusitis. It did a great job and I did not feel sinusitis pain after. Recently, I had to travel and my podiatrist did a cortisone shot in my feet to take off the pain of my Morton's neuroma (a tumor on a nerve in the foot). But it did not help and I did not have time to wait for a second shot as I had to travel before. I was quite in panic as I did not know how to walk with my pain during my trip. So I had the idea to try the Serrapeptase that was remaining in my bottle. I was sooo surprised by the result. As per the very first take, I did not feel my pain anymore. After about 5-6 hours, when I felt the pain coming back, I took another capsule of serrapeptase (always 80 000 UI). And so on during all the trip. So I did not experience pain during my 3 weeks trip with this enzyme. To the point that I don't intend to do anymore a cortisone shot which we know can be harmful for the tissue around. If I can feel some pain coming back, I immediately take a pill and I am ok. The great thing about this serrapeptase that I refer to my family is that it does not upset my stomach. this is very important for me as I cannot take anymore any classic anti inflammatory after I had a gastratis. Even on an empty stomach, I feel good with serrapeptase which, for me, is about a miracle. I will give it now to my husband for his arteries condition after I speak with his cardiologist about it. Always check that your condition or medication is ok with this enzyme (or anything). I also took serrapeptase to try to reduce a strong inflammation in my foot due to another condition that I have (fat pad atrophy on my metatarsal) and once again, it helped me but I had to take 3 capsules a day instead of 2 to be helped and during about 2 weeks.

I have taken serrapeptase in the pass and it did wonders for me. However, I took it at a lower dose in the pass. When I took this the first time it made me vomit and number 2 at the same time. I thew up all my bile. So, I decided to wait a week and give it another try. Well here we are again I had nausea which led me to vomiting again and poop. I should mention I take NAC 30min before on an empty stomach. I have done this combo in the passed and got great result. I do believe the dosage is too high for me and need to take a lower dosage. My body just went immediately into detox mode. I feel terrible though...uuggg. I have an entire bottle that I cant use UPDATE: It's been a month and some days...i wanted to give it another try. So I cut the does in half, took it by itself on am empty stomach. The same thing happened....mayne I got a bad batch. It also feels like its burning my insides

Serra RX80 - Serrapeptase 180 caps 80,000 su My husband uses Serrapeptase to help with internal scarring and liver toxicity (due to meds and procedures). This definately works for him and would recommend this brand for potency and it is free of fillers and unnecessary ingredients (soy lecithin or stearates). He has a history of blood clots, so clean blood is important - his blood is now red and not purple. Cuts heal faster. Lower leg edema is greatly improved. He 'feels' better overall. Internal scarring from catheters is gone, not blocked any more. ED is less of a problem (was not expecting serrapeptase to help this). Sinuses are clearer and mucus is balanced, not clogged up. Start dosage: 2 x 80,000 caps once daily on empty stomach for 3 months. Decreased to 1 x 80,000 cap once daily for 2 months. Now taking 1 x 80,000 cap every other day as maintenance. This may sound like a long time but when health is compromised it has been worth it. Detox reaction is possible (headaches, tiredness, diarrea) but will be shortlived and is to be expected as with any detox plan. Be sensible and have a holistic mindset. He changed his eating habits: removed toxic foods (msg, hfcs, processed, etc); added good fats like coconut oil, butter, olive oil; eats proteins that are easy to digest, avocados, cheese, fish, eggs, peanut butter; and increased vegetables. Above all - listen to your body !

I have chronic, disseminated Lyme, and Serrapeptase has been proven to break-up 'biofilms' which are protective seals bacteria put around themselves that prevent antibiotics (or herbal treatments) from reaching them. So I needed the Serrapeptase to break-up those places where Lyme was hiding. I also have Bartonella (another bacterial co-infection). It hides out in endothelial tissue, blood vessels and other hard to reach areas. This was particularly bad for me, since heart disease runs in the family.If people are prone to narrowing/hardening of arteries, and then get Bartonella, it could increase the narrowing, plaque & heart attack risk . I had read that Serrapeptase is more effective than Statin pharmaceuticals for dissolving plaque build-up and it doesn't have the side effects. I got tired of the sky-high price of the Nutramedix product, and decided to try this brand. Wow! What a difference. I had a major Herx (die-off) of bacteria, that left me wondering how much stronger this product is compared to the other (since I don't know how to convert the different measurements). Glad I tried the 80,000 first! It does seem to help break-up mucus, and this is the first fall I haven't had a sinus infection (on top of Lyme/Bart). A word of caution: Serrapeptase breaks down fibrin, which is an important protein in the blood that is involved in blood coagulation or clotting.It should NOT be taken if you're already on blood thinners, and should be stopped two weeks before any kind of surgery. In summary, I would say that this brand is really helping on several fronts; I can feel the difference. Maybe this time I can kill off the Lyme/Bart once and for all. Then, I'll just use the Serrapeptase for cholesterol control/anti plaque and sinus aid.
