Interrupting Chicken and the Elephant of Surprise

Absolutely love this book! We were introduced to the author’s work at the library with the original Interrupting Chicken book. I went to purchase it and then realised the author had made a sequel, so took a chance. I think my 4 year old likes the sequel better than the original! The illustrations are engaging, the book is funny and enjoyable (my son loves it and always laughs!) but it also provides a valuable lesson in interrupting and what you can miss out on. Really, really well done! Highly recommended!

My kid loves it. They read it in the class first, and he wanted to buy it to read it again at home.

We had this book for my daughter when she was younger and read it to our son years later. It never stops being funny especially if you have those kids who ask why or frequently interrupt in the middle of books or stories. We loved it so much it has become a past time in my home to give this gift to friends with young kids. My kids are grown now, and we still occasionally bring the book out to read for giggles. I LOVE THIS BOOK.

Great book with a funny story line. My kids want me to read this book to them every night before they go to bed. I highly recommend this book for your child or as a birthday gift for your kids friend or even as a mystery reader for your child’s class.
