Deep Cleansing Fabric Rinse with 3X Odor Power, Original Scent, 48 oz

I’ve been adding Tide Deep Cleansing Fabric Rinse to my laundry for the past month, and it is a total game-changer for activewear. I have some gym shirts that seemed to have a "permanent" smell that would come back the second I started warming up—this rinse finally got rid of it. Why it’s better than just detergent: 3X Odor Power: It doesn't just mask smells with heavy perfume; it actually feels like it strips away the buildup (oils, sweat, and old detergent) that traps odors in the fibers. The "Original Scent": It has that classic, clean Tide smell, but it's light and crisp once the clothes are dry. It doesn't clash with your detergent or fabric softener. Safe on All Fabrics: I use it on everything from delicate leggings to heavy towels. It hasn't caused any fading or damage to the elastic in my high-end gym gear. Easy to Use: You just pour it into the fabric softener compartment. It’s a liquid rinse, so it doesn't leave any chalky residue like some laundry boosters. The Results: My towels feel fluffier and smell fresher for longer, and those "hopeless" gym clothes are back in my regular rotation. If you have kids in sports or a "stinky" dog bed situation, this stuff is a must-have.

Great product. Broke down built up detergent residue and leaves a nice smell behind. Also, you can leave clothes in the washer much longer without them getting stinky.

Love this product. It seems to leave a much better feel on the clothes, when I use this product, compared with the traditional fabric softeners. It leaves the clothes feeling and smelling much cleaner and fluffier. There always seems to be a heaviness to the clothes when I use the traditional softeners. This is a much better value for the money spent. It is just as easy to use it; put it into the fabric softener bucket, to have it dispense in the rinse cycle. The size is good, as it lasts a few weeks for me, and we have tons of laundry, with two children. One is the age of six and the other is 25 months old. It dispenses nicely, and does not drip down the side, when you are done pouring it into the clothes washer dispensing cup. Great quality; hands-down!

Great stuff. I really like that the scent matches the Tide powder we already use. It cleans well without adding another competing fragrance, which helps avoid that “layered” or overpowering smell that can happen when too many laundry products clash. It leaves clothes smelling fresh and clean, not perfumed. A solid addition to our regular laundry routine.

I have three different types of odors to contend with when I do laundry. The first is heavy tobacco smoke, acquired secondhand during several hours in small, poorly ventilated spaces with multiple heavy cigarette smokers. This product is fantastic for that- even when the cigarette smell is eye wateringly strong. Until I find a way to get my emo younger relations to stop smoking (maybe when they outgrow the emo thing?), I will continue to buy this product in bulk. The second odor is various laboratory chemicals like formalin, xylene, and glutaraldehyde. This fabric rinse struggles there, but manages to get rid of lower levels of all three. It doesn't do much against more than a small amount of xylene, but then again, very few things besides a blowtorch can completely banish xylene. The third odor is from bodily fluids. There are dozens of products on the market formulated specifically for urine, feces, or both. If that is what you are trying to get rid of in your laundry, I would recommend exploring those more specific products instead. This rinse will work reasonably well against a small spot or two, but if you are washing clothing and sheets for someone with incontinence issues, this just isn't up to the job. Two other positive points about this product: It has a scent, but it is minimal. It doesn't cover odors in fabrics with a layer of fake lavender or whatever, but actually removes them. Also, it is a pretty decent fabric softener, and I have found that I don't have to add one when I use this rinse.

This makes everything smell fresh and clean.

This is my go to, to remove tough odors from laundry! 🧺 it really knocks out the strongest of odors . Highly recommend. it smells amazing too ! You won’t regret buying this.

I have VERY sensitive skin. So much so that I cannot use fragranced detergent, softener or dryer sheets. However, I really wanted to test this product. I’ve heard great things and I wasn’t using softener anyways due to how most of them just leave a nasty waxy coating on clothes. On the first use I used a measuring cup and used 1/4 cup for a normal load. Smells amazing btw and leaves a subtle scent on clothes that doesn’t assault your nostrils once dry. To my surprise my skin didn’t react at all! The second use I went a bit heavy handed with it and crossed my fingers my skin wouldn’t break out in hives and rashes. Again, to my surprise my skin had no reaction whatsoever. You definitely don’t need to use more than directed though! Using more doesn’t yield better results. This leaves my clothes very soft, feeling clean, and with a nice subtle scent. My only complaint would be the bottle sort of leaks if you squeeze too hard or if the cap isn’t tightly snapped shut. Otherwise I’d highly recommend this product!
