Great for kids and adults

We purchased this game at the beginning of lock downs in 2020, I figured we would need some extra in-home activities. At the time my son was 4 and my daughter was 2. This game did not disappoint. My children have essentially grown up with this game and it’s been such a blast. I love that you can adjust the difficulty for each player individually. So when my husband or myself plays against one of the kids, we can play on a difficult level (black is the hardest) and my kids can play on one of the easier levels (yellow is the easiest). It levels the playing field and makes it challenging for everyone in a good way. It never gets old, there are so many cards to choose from and because you level up during the game, and randomly get a new piece to add to your puzzle, you never play the same game twice. There are also other ways to play. You can build 3-D cubes, there are diagrams of different animal shapes (great for the littlest minos), and freeform balancing towers. I love that it’s wood and not plastic. The quality is outstanding. When we first got the game I was so paranoid about losing a piece, but in the last 4+ years we’ve kept them all. This game has definitely stood the test of time, and I recommend it for everyone, young and old.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this game for my son because he already has the original Katamino and this one allows him to play with another person adding a bit of competitiveness to the game. Katamino is a great game and helps with logic and is overall just a fun puzzle game. Its definitely worth the price as you can play it for a while without getting bored.

Fun for all ages of my kids. I even enjoy playing with them. However paint started chipping only after short use...but doesn't make it less fun. So just took 1 star

Our Grandson loves creative puzzles

For those who like geometric puzzles, this is a great activity! There are many totally different ways to play for young children or older children or adults or having them play together! The pieces are sturdy. The direction booklet is colorful and extensive. The only negative thing is that the very first page of full directions, sounds rather confusing, at first. At first, you don’t think it will work. Just follow what it says. Surprisingly, it does work. Very fun for everyone.

I opted for this version so we could play each other. Some of the puzzles are surprisingly hard for adults & gave us a laugh. The kids as young as 3 play with them

Super Game,even for my 4-year old!

Bellissimo gioco che stimola lo sviluppo della logica, della visualizzazione geometrica e della coordinazione manuale. Peccato per le istruzioni che sono solo in inglese, si potrebbe mettere almeno un link su dove trovare la versione italiana.
