This is completely normal for real honeycomb as it's wax after all, designed to secure and protect the honey. The ultra-soft combs you see in supermarket jars are usually sitting in syrup, so this is the real deal. I also want to mention that if you find a small insect in your honey packaging, don’t panic. It’s likely wax moth larvae, which are common and don’t mean the honey is bad. Honey is produced by thousands of bees that live in wooden hives in nature, so encountering insects occasionally is normal. In fact, their presence is a reassurance that the honey is truly organic and raw. I found one in my first pack, but it didn’t bother me. Tastes great, looks great, feels great, feels a bit waxy but i quite like the wax as its like natural chewing gum. It is quite small and doesn’t last long. But worth buying and will probably buy it again in the future. 100% pure Honeycomb

I’ve really got a thing about raw honeycomb, but I’m very picky because I like the more delicate flavours and this really hit the mark. It taste absolutely delicious. 😋 the only thing I would say is it’s a bit tricky to store because the wood only goes round the sides as a frame but I just put it in a see-through container with the lid and it kept it nice and fresh and it made it easier. I’m not knocking a star off it because of the quality it’s so delicious and worth the money in my opinion.

Grandad loved this and it was something different for the man who has everything. It looked great and tasted even better, good quality product.
