How long is this good for / how long does it keep?

I usually use this product fairly quickly at this season, and it id more effective than powder. I have never kept it for more than 2-3 months. Powder however will keep for years, I always keep some powder around. My advice would be that if you want to keep it longer than one season, use powder. I can't say that I know that gel won't keep, but chemically, it would stand to reason that it could dry out or break up fairly quickly, given the necessity for it to remain viscus, and adhesive. Is there an expiration date on the jar or not?

There is a QA code on the bottle that should read something like 22/123/L4 the first 2 numbers are the year the product was packed.

Extremely good rooting aid. Easy to use for cuttings. I’ve had great success with geraniums, fuchsias and hydrangea cuttings. I buy regularly. Highly recommend.

Simple to use for plant cuttings This rooting gel is straightforward to apply and the consistency makes it easy to coat the end of a cutting without creating much mess. The bottle is a useful size and only a small amount is needed each time. It is still too early to judge every cutting, but several have established successfully so far. A convenient product for plant propagation.
