High quality action camera package
The image quality is very clear, and it is fully waterproof—even when used underwater in a hot tub. The manual is detailed and easy to follow. When I contacted customer service, they responded promptly and were very friendly, even asking if I had any additional questions. It also came with a set of basic accessories, which makes the package feel very practical and a great value. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the product and the support.

Awesome Product for Motorcycles
Love it. I recently had the Akaso Brave 4 which I really liked as well. It was easy to use and being small and lightweight was perfect for mounting to my motorycle. I hit a deer, and the Brave 4 was completely destroyed. The Brave 7 is a really nice upgrade without the high price of a GoPro. It is much easier to use than the Brave 4 with the touch screen and updated software. Mine is the updated version 2.0, so the internal mic is also much better than the original. It is easy to use and the Akaso app works well. I have never owned a GoPro, but this works perfectly for its intended purpose. The remote control and accessory kit is a nice addition to this package for the price. It comes with a charger, 2 batteries, remote control and mounting accessories. I do wish it came standard with the waterproof case. You need to purchase that separately. Even though the the camera has an IPX rating, I still prefer to have it in a case while riding on my motorcycle. The plastic cage that comes with the camera is pretty flimsy, and the hinge that locks the camera into the case already broke. However, this is not a deal breaker, as I would want something more substantial on my motorycle anyway. An aluminum/metal cage would be really nice to have in this combo kit. The camera itself is very well made and seems solid and durable. The video quality is very good, and I really like how easy it is to change settings. The upgraded stabalization works really well on my bike. Excellent video quality for the price. I am a novice with action cameras, but the quality is really good. If you're a professional blogger, you may notice a small difference in video quality, but if you your looking for a quality action camera for your adventures, look no further. Great product at a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality action camera for road biking, mountain biking or motorcycling. I have no intention of using it under water, so I can't comment on its waterproof capabilities. Great Product.

Highly recommended
I’m really impressed with the AKASO Brave 7. For the price, the video quality is excellent—sharp, vibrant, and stable even when I’m moving. The dual-screen feature is super convenient, especially for vlogging or taking selfies. What I like most is that it’s waterproof right out of the box, so I didn’t need an extra case for basic water use. The battery life is solid, and having two batteries included is a huge plus. The controls are simple, and the app connection works well for transferring footage. Overall, this camera offers great value for money and performs better than I expected. Definitely a good choice if you want a reliable action camera without spending too much.

Decent, affordable, functional for amateurs
Purchased for a Florida Nature Coast vacation and regular use while kayaking in Virginia. Audio quality and image stabilization have clearly been improved since earlier reviews. Camera and accessories are easy to use. Battery life was sufficient for short paddles and floats. I only used one with a back up fully charged in case needed. For a little over $100, I'm satisfied with the value based on the good results I got. I accidentally tested the water resistance by knocking it into the channel where I was fishing. Oops. No issues with functionality afterward, and a fun video resulted. Buy the extra accessory packs and waterproof case. All very useful and versatile. I would definitely recommend for an amateur looking for an inexpensive, decent quality action cam.

Easy to set up
Easy set up and great accessories bundle. Must have dexterity and maybe even finger nails to remove SD card and open compartments but it looks solid. Bought the waterproof cover because it is affordable and we will be snorkeling with it. Great YouTube videos show all the features in detail.

One year in - and it's not really usable anymore
Just prior to a year old, i started getting an error with the camera that would say the sd card wasn't high enough speed and it would stop recording. I was using a sandisk v30 card, so is plenty fast and worked flawlessly with my go pro. i tried more than one card an all had the same results. tech support was responsive but i was about 10 days past the 1 yr warranty when i reported the issue. The camera should last more than one year. I'm not going to knock tech support, good response and i technically was out of warranty. a better look would be to take care of the customer who is still that close to the 1 year mark, but they aren't obligated to. The one star is because i've had a go pro 10 running along side of this camera and don't have issues with the go pro at all, plus the go pro has better low light picture, better stability, better features and is alot more reliable. i liked the akaso price but i guess you get what you pay for. my first akaso i lost, the second one the usb plug came loose so i cannot keep it plugged in to keep it powered, and this one has apparent hardware issues (tech support's diagnosis from the troubleshooting i did). unfortunately it's one year old and not usable.

Excellent value for your bucks
After using my Akaso Brave 4 and loving it after a hike, I decided to get a second one (within 1 week), the Akaso Brave 7 - GY. Due to the attractive price, overall value, larger front display, and mild water-resistance without case. Definitely different, the Brave 7 is much more sturdy, larger, and a bit heavier due the construction. The features and menu flow is a little different too, but still intuitive and easy to do without the online PDF manual. Notable differences between the two. To start positively, both come with bunch of mounting accessories (everything you need to get started) - excellent! The batteries are slightly different size wise, so it you cannot share the Brave 4 and 7 in case you bought extras batteries (I did) - Just FYI. The outer protective frame on the Brave 7, it's cumbersome as it requires the mounting thumb screw removal to pull out the camera to get to the battery hatch, whereas the Brave 4 is a easy clip-on type without removing the mount screw. The rear/front display switching button and wifi enable is different. For display Brave 4 = Up button hold; Brave 7 = Down button hold. For Wifi, Brave 4 = Power button hold; Brave 7= Up button hold. Photo/Video/Setting configuration is similar and can also be done via touch screen on the Brave 7. Though something interesting in the Brave 7. Some settings are locked for edit and remain in default mode (not sure why these and other settings are modifiable). These are: [Camera]: Self timer; Auto Shoot interval; Auto Shoot duration; Burst photo type. [Video]: Timelapse interval; Timelapse duration; Video shoot time. This was frustration trying to figure out why....then assumed that these are probably not needed to configure, since you can do these manually in real time using the nifty Remote control (which btw, you have to charge its internal battery via included USB mini plug cable (yes mini) and not sure how long the charge will last though). Luckily the camera data/power port on both 4/7 is USB-C and you can use and charge at the same time, so that's good. Aside from that I like both. Brave 7, I'll exclusively use for hiking (water resistance to 33ft - great for rainy hikes, and waterfall spray). Brave 4 I'll use for beach vacations since it comes with a true waterproof clear case (to 130ft).
