Excellent well-made product
These cold packs are not as cold as real ice or as the gel type you keep in the freezer, but they do get cold enough to reduce pain and swelling. The big advantage is portability. I always take these along when I travel, and I keep some next to the bed so I don't have to get up during the night if I need a cold pack. They work well -- just squeeze and shake. I really like the included sleeves because the plastic is not on my skin and I don't get wet from condensation in humid weather. I find it easier to put the pack into the sleeve before activating it. These are well made. I have never had one rip or puncture, which is especially important for travel, and I have never had one not work. When they start to warm up, a little additional shaking will get you a few more minutes of chilling. These are not a a replacement for ice, but for me they are a valuable addition to the chronic pain arsenal.

Very handy to have on the go
I love these ice packs if I'm going somewhere or can'tget out of bed to get an ice pack out of my refrigerator. The only downside, for me personally, is that they stay cold for about a 1/2 hour or so and are not as cold as a traditional ice pack. I have arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and a failed back surgery, so it might just be a "me issue". Other than that I would recommend these ice packs.

Worked great, not cold for long
These have worked well and I haven't gotten a no working "dud" yet. It's fairly easy to squeeze this to pop the internal bag and activate it. It gets cold almost immediately and continues to get colder for several minutes. For the 8 I've used so far, the coldest part lasts anout 15 minutes before it starts to warm. It's still cold 20-25 minutes later but not icy cold. I got covers for each of the bags (not necessary to reuse). The box with this many bags is heavy!

Work well
These only last a short while after you pop them to mix the ingredients and make them cold, but they get very cold and do what you need them to do. I got them for after my hysterectomy so that if I needed an ice pack in the night I wouldn’t have to get up or wake my husband up to go to the freezer. I just kept the box beside me, and never needed more than 2 in a row. They provide quick relief in a pinch. I still have about half of them left, I keep some at home and some in my car in case of any accidents we may need them for as my boys are quite rowdy and sprain and breaks do definitely happen from time to time. Would recommend for after surgery, or for any home with wild children, or clumsy toddlers, even though my kids are teenagers or grown already. Would even come in handy if you get overheated, which is a real possibility here in East Texas where we get 105-110 actual temp and 115-120 with the heat index a lot of the time in the summer. Just handy to have around in my opinion.

Great value for products
small enough to pack in your bag, great to bring to sports games or hot days to relieve the heat on your neck, they dont last super long being very cold but serve the purpose, i thought the dollars spent for the amount we got was worth the purchase!

Soccer and football
I'm the grandma that buys each of the grandkids teams boxes of these for first aid. I think they are NECESSARY for injury treatment. And it seems like there are kids getting hurt every game. They play hard.

They do not cool. Waste of money
Do not purchase. I tried three of them and non cool. Waste of money. I have tried to get a refund/return but it keeps getting denied saying pictures do not show they do not work. I don’t know how in the world a picture can show if an item is fooling. Biggest waste of money!
