Outset BBQ Paella & Deep Dish Pizza Pan, 18.2” x 14.1” x 1.3" Cast Iron Pan

Best pizza pan I have ever used! Perfect crust and no sticking like on other pans.

I wanted to try this pan since I was making pizza and did not have a cast iron pan for the oven for this. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful it was while unpacking. The inside is VERY smooth and my pizza cooked perfectly. I am looking forward to using it for paninis with my press and steak, also on the grill. My stove is a gas stove, but I also have an induction burner that I want to try (it should work on that also).I am definitely keeping this pan and actually will order one for my son as well. I like it that much!

It’s look good but only one spot seem damage or something but hope coat it with food oil will prevent any further That why I give it four stars instead of five stars. Will update once coat it and cook it

Good even heat distribution. Needs to be oil treated after each use. Do not allow to dry or it will get rust spots, but that's true for many cast iron pans. The handles are sturdy. We are very pleased with this pan.

I purchased this originally to replace a plain steel pizza pan but so far I have found it much more useful for other cooking needs.So far I have baked salmon and made paella using this pan. For pizza I was merely cooking a pre-made store-bought pizza but it was great for that. Now I want to use it to make some home-made pizza. It has a nice deep rim and the cast iron seasoning on the inside is fairly non-stick.It is a bit heavy and has to go in to my oven with the handle sideways (not a entirely horrible thing). It cleans up very easily with a wet washcloth and a spraydown with hot water (after it cools first).Most of my cookware hangs from a pot rack along one wall. This pan is not so heavy that it bends the hooks on the pot rack and it sits flat against the wall so it does not take up much space in storage.I wish I had bought this years ago.

Awesome skillet. I love the fact that it can be used on a bbq grill, in your oven or on the stove top. It has a great weight to it and it heats evenly across the surface of the skillet..

Really nice pan , we purchased it for homemade pizza,amazing! Love the handles and not as deep as the traditional cast iron pan! We keep it on the stove because we have also made burgers, steaks and it’s a large size! Definitely five stars!

Good for pan frying. Gets hot on handles

I know this pan is already seasoned, but I seasoned it again myself with some safflower oil when it arrived regardless. So far I’ve been using it just on the bbq with vegetables and some seafood. I wait until it’s pretty hot and then no food sticks to the pan at all. I haven’t yet put it in the sink - I just heat the pan up again once I’m done cooking and then wipe it out once it’s cooled off.This pan is heavy - I weighed it and it’s in the vicinity of 9 - 9.5 lbs - and it’s just beautiful if a pan can be beautiful. It’s smooth and free from any defects. The handles are super sturdy and the bottom of the pan looks much like a griddle with raised parallel lines running across the width. It doesn’t slide around on the bbq and I think these lines help with that.If you like cast iron, I know it’s not cheap but I wouldn’t hesitate to get this. It’s going to last and the size is perfect for cooking all kinds of things.

I've cooked on cast iron for 20 years now, and I love using it.but this pan is incredible quality.of course this works for home made pizzas, but can be used on a grill, stove top, or in the oven for many things.I love my pizza stone but this also gets the job done. pre heat it for a crunchy crush or put the frozen/freash pizza on the pan as it goes in the oven for a softer crush.there are tons of grill/stove top or oven uses for this. . .the cooking surface is high quality, and the handles are stylish and function, (sturdy, prefect size, and has a hanging notch . . . a extra thoughtful benefit.) the copper hex bolts holding the handles on, and the logo is a great accent to the over all style of the pan.with a little car this will last generations!!!
