ARKARTECH Gaming Headset with Mic for Xbox One PS4 PS5 PC Switch Tablet, with Stereo Surround Sound & LED Light Noise Cancelling Over Ear Headphones

Purchased this gaming headset while looking for one to replace my previous one that had its mic malfunctioning. While looking for a decent headset at competitive pricing, I found this headset on Amazon. As you can see in the picture, the headset comes with an instruction manual and a free connector (which is a nice touch on the seller's part). I was able to connect the headset to any 3.5mm headphone jack and/or two 3.5mm jacks for both mic and headset. USB cable attached helps with cool side ambient lights on the headset. (You won't be able to see it while playing gaming because it's on the side, but it's still cool) I do voice chats often on Discord for gaming and day trading in the morning. The headset delivers the sound loud and clear. You can hear other people really well with this headset. In terms of sound quality, it is good enough. Let's be real, you're not buying something like Bang & Olufsen, Bose, Harman Kardon, etc. here. Nonetheless, the sound quality is decent enough with a good level of noise cancellation that gives you a good focus for whatever you are doing. If you plan on hearing some heavy base music, you will hear the woofer sort of ripping like noise. I also like the nice touch on the microphone that can be traced back towards the headset for easier and safer storing. Mic quality is good as well, the others are able to hear me well while chatting. Overall, given how much I paid for the headset, I am satisfied with my purchase and the quality of the headset I received. Would recommend the others as well. As a matter of fact, my teenager brother is already stealing my headset for his gaming! hahaha

(there's literally SO much to say about these great headphones) -I'm a PC gamer so it's awesome that these work for laptop/towers, but it also came with separate attachments to put on the ends for any console (I don't have them pictures since I forgot where I put them already lol!) -first the speakers are great and the noise cancelling is astounding, I had headphones before these, but these are definitley better at cancelling noise out -there is microphone capabilities to talk to people -the headphones have one long (LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG- look at the sofa pic) chord. LOL! I guess thats more for console players who like to move around in their chairs or stand up sometimes? It has the knob to change volume, it also has speaker "settings" so to speak- like you can flip up or down so people can hear you through the mic. -the end of the chord has two separate directions- one goes into the sound, the other goes in for lights if you want it, I usually keep it out of the port but put them in for the photos to show you that they actually change colors! so yeah- pros: noise cancelling, comfortable to wear, capability to go into laptop/tower/consoles, separate knob to change volume, microphone, mic "off/on" capability, can control sound/lights separately, I like bulky headphones if you don't you might not like them as they are quite bulky cons: too long for me, my cat likes to play with it when I forget to wrap them up, but would be useful for other types of people neutrals: light color changing capabilities on headphones makes no difference whether I like them or not

(READ THIS FIRST REVIEW AND SCROLL DOWN FOR THE UPDATE) Overall cheap attributes. The mic is not moveable so if you are a quiet talker you need to find a different head set. The head set feels cheaply made as if I drop it, it would shatter into pieces. There is not sound cancellation. It sounds like they took speakers out of a toy and put them in the head set, and it seems like they couldn’t decide wether they wanted them to be a USB or Wired headset so both wires are together giving you a rats nest all around you. The mic on/off switch unit is accompanied by a volume dial giving this a very heavy tug on the wire so if you plan to use it for long enough, the wire would get pulled out of the headphones for sure. There is actually pictures missing as well in the description. They don’t show you the usb, or the straight mic. The also don’t show you the module where the mic on/off switch is. —————————————— UPDATE APRIL 2020 This headset is not a pair of Bose, so if that is the quality you are looking for I suggest you buy a pair of Bose. Overall Overall I was not too satisfied with this headset and was going to return them. Before I returned them I left a review about this headset about everything I didn’t like. I didn’t end up sending the headset back because I gave them to a family member that was in need of a pair so I gave him the headset. The seller reached out to me regarding the review and was able to help me out. This new review is going to take into account what my family member thinks of this product from 3 months of use as well as my experience with the seller. 1. Appeal I give this a 3.5 out of 5 being that they are appealing to look at, they do feel on the cheap side. However, this is not all that bad for the price, so 3.5. One gold star. 2. Sound Quality Again, this is not a Bose headset so if that is what you are looking for, go buy Bose. For the price I bought these for and for what my family member uses them for (gaming) they do quite well, and he has given them a 4 out of 5. So for the price, I’ll give the head set a 4 out of 5 for that. One gold star. 3. Customer service I had written my first review in December of 2019. The seller did not get back to be until April of 2020. I realize that the Caronavirus did start showing up in China around the time I left the review so I will not be rating the speed of getting back to me due to this reason. I can say that the seller did offer to refund me or send me a new headset and was extremely pleasant to communicate with. For that I will give a 5 out of 5. I will give one gold star for customer service. 4. Delivery Seller offered Amazon Prime. One gold star. 5. Overall Overall this headset is fairly descent for the price. I will be taking one gold star for the fact that there are some missing pictures of this product still and I am a big fan of transparency when it comes to knowing the product you are buying.

The audio for game chat is amazing and players on my team report that they can hear me really well thanks to the noise canceling microphone. Gaming audio is also great, I’m able to hear footsteps when they’re coming close as well as enemies reloading or clocking their guns. The build quality feels sturdy although it’s all plastic, it bends and twists around without a problem. The headband has two sliders made of plastic for adjustment on either side. The inline volume control has a swivel to control the volume and also a small switch on the side to mute or unmute the mic. The volume swivel does operate in the opposite direction you’d expect, but is not a big issue. The headset has soft and breathable memory foam earmuffs, features a surrounding stereo effect, and a noise canceling microphone. The light up colours do require it to be plugged in via USB, so I don’t find myself using it as much. I’ve found that connecting it to a power bank and keeping it in your pocket is the best method as you can still move around with your controller freely. The cable range is very lengthy looks like it can extend about 4ft/120cm from where you plug it in making it ideal in all situations. I’ve used it during multiple occasions of gaming and have only some pressure develop on my head nearing the 2 hour mark. I do feel like the headset itself is a bit too big for my head which would explain why the pressure develops during long use. The mic extension on the other hand is perfect and stays wherever you place it and also fits flush into the headset when not in use. For such an affordable price, I’d definitely recommend this headset to gamers as it provides the same quality features as other expensive brands. The ability to hear footsteps and react before your opponent insures that you have a higher chance of killing them. So for that reason alone I’d recommend these to anyone looking to improve their gaming skill.

I was looking for an affordable gaming headset and I came across this on amazon. Firstly, the price on this gaming headset is really cheap. You would think that since the price is really low the quality is probably really poor but it is not! The headset has awesome quality, they are flexible, sound great, are comfortable and they have LED lighting. I mainly use this headset for gaming on my Xbox one. All I have to do it plug this into the headphone jack on my Xbox one controller. There are two outputs to the headsets, 3.5mm pin for sound and mic and a USB to power the LED lighting. To power the LED lighting, you can connect it to a USB port or use a portable power bank. I can hear the game sound really well, I can hear enemy footsteps clearly and additionally they have pretty good base. The mic is also really good on the headset. I can confirm that because my friends can hear me clearly and crisp on their side. The mic can be pulled down from the side of the headset and can be put away when you are not using it. On the wire, the headset also come with a mute switch and a volume rocker. The headset do a decent job on the noise cancellation which is sufficient for a gaming headset at this price range. Also, you can use this headset on your phone and computer. Altogether, I love this gaming headsets as they are really good quality for a really cheap price. Would recommend it to anyone looking for gaming headsets.

Amazing head set as soon as you put them on without any sound you can tell that there’s noise cancelation in it just not as strong as they’d like most likely. Tested the headset out on my PS4, the microphone works well, and the sound is very clear not crackly at all, but the biggest fault of it is because the sound does not go loud loud, it goes loud but not as loud as I’d like, but it’s for my spouse and he enjoys it more lighter in sound and not as loud so it’ll be perfect for him. The biggest downfall of this whole headset would be the LED lights wire, it should of been made into the same wire as the headphone jack. Amazing if your gaming on a PC since both ports are right there. But while on the PS4, or Xbox etc you don’t have the option really of connecting it into a USB, so at that point there’s no point in the LED lights. It’s not a huge annoying thing but if you have OCD, or really want the LED lights it’s sorta a disappointment.

Perfect gaming product. It is totally made for gaming and it's performance is astonishing. The noise isolation is the most effective thing in this headphone. Pros : - 1. The sound is very clear and there is absolutely no noise or extra sound 2. The sound quality is very good, less bass and more real sound. 3. Good gaming awareness 4. The 3D sound works perfectly. I can point the direction of sound without seeing the source. It gives a good gaming awareness. 5. Noise isolation gives me a complete cut from the real surrounding. It is The Best noise isolation headphone that I ever used. 6. The product is durable, it is strong and can fit on any size. 7. It is comfortable for long time gaming, like I can easily wear it for 3-4 continues hours. 8. The build quality is good 9. Volume controller is easy to use. 10. The LED RGB light gives me an amazing effect at night 11. I tried this in iMAC and worked perfectly even though the ad doesn't mention that 12. So, bought this last year, so I'd say I've used it enough to give a proper review now. Insofar as price for product, I suppose it's good. The audio is decent, if not a bit tinny at times - it's developed a bit of a crackling off and on now so I'm not exactly enthused, but it was like 30$ so the fact it's lasted a year is a bit of a miracle. The only major complaint I have is actually the mic. My friends on discord constantly complain that they can't hear me- and it won't pick up my voice at all sometimes. I've tested my old (slightly broken) ps4 gold headset but it doesn't have the same issues as noted with this one. That's a bit like comparing a gold apple to a tomato though. They're both red but that's where it ends. Beyond that - the headset is lightweight and comfy and doesn't make my neck hurt if I've been wearing it a while. I suppose overall it's an okay budget headset, but don't expect anything groundbreaking is all I'm saying.
