Kirkland Signature Stretch-Tite 12" X 3000' Food Wrap

I don't bother buying those small rolls—they're cumbersome. You have to hold the roll on one hand, tear wth the other, and still end up with a clump you have to separate. With this big one, I keep in on the counter and am able to use two hands to tear and place onto whatever I'm wrapping. Easy.

This is the handiest thing in my kitchen. I slip a dryer sheet underneath the roll to neutralize the static cling and love it.

I do like this plastic wrap generally, and it is wonderful not to have to worry about tiny little boxes of plastic wrap running out. But this is a LOT of plastic wrap in a very big and heavy box. You are not going to want to be lifting and using this like you would a small box. I did not think about home kitchen storage for it -- but it really demands to be left out and used the way it would be in a professional kitchen. Make sure you have room to put it somewhere solid above (or near the edge of) your counters since pulling and tearing the product takes both hands to be done correctly -- and you need to be able to pull it up and then tear down without smacking your hands on the counter. Just think about how it is used in a professional kitchen and the description might make more sense. I don't use the separate included slider-cutter, but, thinking about it, that might help the tearing issue. The cutting blade on the cardboard that is included is really great. The film itself has a slight odor to it, but that odor was only transferred to some baked goods when I covered the pan with it instead of using my regular waxed paper; it has been perfect for everything else and seems much easier to unwrap than regular plastic wrap.

Ever since we were given a box of Stretch-tite years ago, we were amazed at how much it holds up to its name. Then we couldn't find it anymore at Costco and started using the Kirkland's brand that didn't perform as well as Stretch-tite. Our Kirkland brand was running low and I just happened to find Stretch-tite here on amazon and ordered a box and we are now again enjoying the use of this great product. The benefits are a plastic film that will cling and keep on clinging and a slide cutter that works great up to the end of the roll. An amazing product that I would highly recommend and with 3000 feet we will not have to purchase another roll anytime soon.

I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THIS WRAP. IT IS THICK AND VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. THIS LARGE SIZE LASTS A VERY LONG TIME.

Don't underestimate the value for something as simple as saran wrap. Almost every household has this and I used to think it didnt really matter which brand you went with. For years I would always pick up the value brand thinking this is what all plastic wrap was like. The one time I decided to splurge for this (I actually bought it because it was huge and thought this could take care of my wrapping needs for years) and used this for the first time, I knew I had to log into Amazon to give it a good review. The plastic wrap works about 76 times better than the cheaper brands Im used. When I used this to cover a ceramic bowl, it stuck to it so well that it probably created a seal. Im used having to wrap layer over layer just to get the thing to stay on. Not this... one sheet was all I need to cover my bowls. It's hard to explain how it works so well but it just does. Have you ever seen a window that was so clean that you arent even sure if the glass is there? Thats what this reminds me of.
