I just bought the Panasonic Blu-ray Player DMP-BD35 which plays thorough the equally excellent Panasonic TX-L37G10B 37-inch Full HD Television but I needed an HDMI cable. Although I already had a Panasonic HDMI lead for my Panasonic DVD Recorder but I wasn't all that impressed with it......it was good but I knew I could get better. So after reading various reviews on this cable I ordered it and received it within a couple of days (which is very quick considering I live in Northern Ireland). It really does look impressive. It comes in a sealed plastic wallet (to cut down in packaging)....don't let that put you off because everything else about it is quality. The only mistake I did was I should have ordered a 2 metre cable.....so I have replaced the existing Panasonic HDMI cable with this one and ordered the 2 metre Platinum one for the Blu-ray Player. The two metre cable came as quickly as the one metre cable and it is GREAT. In response to my review of the one metre cable the Company kindly wrote to me via Email to thank me for my positive review. I thought that that was a very nice thought.....taking the time out to personally write to me and thank me.....that is very good Customer Service. For those cynics amongst who read this review, I can tell you that I have nothing to do with this product or the Company selling it. I wrote to them and told them that I genuinely thought their product was SUPERB.....do yourself a favour and buy one.....you won't regret it. The cable itself is heavy duty and so will not kink and the connections fit snugly into the TV and the DVD Player. Honestly, this is a really good cable.

Not Exactly sure what to conclude about this cable, when I first got it I was immediately impressed with the build quality, from the cable sheath material to the sturdy connector points, it felt more than worth the price I paid for it. 5 stars...before I plugged it in. When I plugged this in I was a little confused about the picture quality on a Bluray player. It seemed to be slightly more noisy than another HDMI cable I bought from this same excellent company. I'm not sure why, was it a faulty cable or are HDMI cables really that hit and miss? Ive kept the cable anyway, it is still connected and to be honest I'm not really noticing the noise anymore, I may have gotten used to it or it may have actually improved as if there was some residual charge left in the cable which needed to dissipate. Id be interested to know if others have had a similar experience. I still rate this cable well as the picture noise was actually only a very subtle thing, and the build quality is fantastic, no worries about it breaking or connection becoming loose. Superbly fast service from the seller too.

This is a cable which links my Samsung BD-P1500 blue ray player and Series 7 Samsung LE40A756 40" 100HZ LCD TV, recently purchased from a major retail park supplier. What can I say but it works!! You don't need to spend a fortune on HDMI cables, but I wouldn't just buy the cheapest one you can find either. It would probably work, but you get what you pay for and it would probably break with in a few months. This cable is a perfect example of a mid priced but very high quality cable which is of sound manufacturing standards and very high quality. I think previous comments about it being "sexy" are a little extreme, but what ever floats your boat I suppose. Personnally I think it's a shame these don't come with the blue ray players, I think it's a bit of a con by the high street retailers to sell you a massivley over priced HDMI cable with their resonably priced TVs/BRPs.

This is great! The cable's built quality itself is amazing - it's sturdy, well made and you can tell it's quality by the weight of the thing. The cable does not bend or kink like cheaper cables would, and the shielding is really evident. It's shipped basically in a plastic wallet to save on costs; something I have no complaints about. Verbose packaging never made sense. The picture quality, ah yes! The picture quality is top notch too, can't fault it. I own a Series 6 Samsung 37" and a Samsung BD-P1500/XEU - Blu-ray Disc Player and it connects them beautifully and the quality is stunning. The opening scenes of I Am Legend (the Cityscapes) blow your mind with the contrast, colour saturation and overall quality. I often use an analogy to describe the importance of a good quality cable: Why have two state of the art train stations - with top of the range trains - connected by shoddy old tracks? Let me say, these tracks are second to none! Buy them!

Okay so it's a cable. It appears well manufactured from decent quality parts. You plug both ends in and it works! In that respect it met expectations but on reflection it works well. There is no picture or sound degredation that I can detect on the higher end equipment that I have. The best bit though is the stores selling the equipment it connects were charging two or three times the price for other versions. On that basis it is good value for the money. I rated it one star down because it took a few more days longer to arrive than I felt was necessary for something that was in stock.

Lovely cables - heavy and solid, but no so much that you feel like you'll damage your equipment. I especially like the woven outer covering - nice and retro. I usethem to join my V+ HD box to an LG 32" TV. Just one problem - it didn't make the slightest bit of difference to my TV picture!
