Its a really good quality book. Read some negative comments regarding the frayed edging of the pages, but that just gives the book character. The book is really clear and concise and easy to understand, which is great because this and the tarot set, I bought for my daughter. She was using my tarot cards and book passed down through the family and the wording was very academically written. This book also has lots of information on different spreads and how to the use the cards in different circumstances. Until looking at the book, I realised there are more spreads than the Celtic cross. Would highly recommend to any beginner and probably beyond. The only difference between this and a traditional book, is an explanation as to the Greek legends behind each card, but this knowledge is not needed to read the cards. My book has five pages on the legend and only a paragraph on what the card means in the spread. This book also has added extras of spells and wicken magic. Not sure if she'll use that, but its always a bonus for my daughter to be knowledgeble in different beliefs.

I bought this to accompany my Rider-Waite tarot deck & it hadn't disappinted. It gives an indepth description for each card, including a history of the designs & how the card can be read in different circumstances eg love, a job, finances etc. The book also goes into the history of oracle's & includes a lot of additional information around the art of divination & witchcraft. It has a rustic look & feel to the book which means it'll look good on any book shelf. Thoroughly enjoying it.

I am absolutely impressed with this book full of information explaining everything about tarot cards and all the little hidden meanings on the cards themselves even the way the book is presented I find really quaint and unusual I don't have a problem with the pages being an even it looks really good cannot rate this book highly enough we give it 10 stars if I could

This book makes tarot reading and interpretation highly accessible and fun. It's so easy to read and a companion to my amateur tarot readings.

Like others I was a little worried when I ordered this book due to the reviews regarding the quality and the deckle edged paper. I'm actually very happy with the book, it looks great and the content is bang on. The author included information on reading playing cards also which is a plus. I would recommend this book if like me your just getting into tarot

I do love this book. I love the look and feel of it too. It has a lot of good information. My only problem are the pages. Although the edges add to the character and look great. It does make it harder to flick through pages when you're looking for a certain page. You can't flick it page by page because they clump together. It's not a deal breaker but is a bit annoying. It looks good but isn't very practical. Overall though I'm glad I bought this book.

Brilliant book for beginners. Very clear, great interpretations, looking at different types of readings - love, work, money, and reversed cards. It also covers symbolism, numerology, spreads and it’s given me some great insight into the cards to help me give some excellent readings right away as a beginner. Love the rustic feel, and the vibe. Recommended.

Beautiful design and layout, beautiful paper, and actually helpful content. The book is well written, the content organised in a way that eases the start into the craft, but also works well as a reference work to look up meanings you havent memorized yet. The only thing i dont like, is that the beatiful handmade paper doesnt easily let you turn the pages. But it looks amazing. The most important part: I am so glad the language is actually understandable and not redundant rambling as many books on the topic i have seen, bc that infuriates me. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn tarot.
