Beware of product image and instructions.
If you want to purchase an item that has unclear directions that are numbered to assemble this would be it. Not only does the photo not show other pieces that have to be assembled. They are not in one-size-fits-all. As you can see the earring fell out of the main housing while I was using it. The metal that I was cutting within specifications as to what it could handle. Then the tire piece came out out of the main housing that drives the gears for the cutters. It did nothing but ruined a piece of metal that I was trying to cut. The spring that they do not show in the picture that you have to figure out how to put on shot off during the attempted use. There is also a stabilizer bar that goes from the top of the drill down to the base of your drill, but while you’re holding your drill, the end of the stabilizer bar digs into your palm. I do not recommend this product and have so little faith I am not returning it to get a like one. Requesting the refund this time

You will not regret purchasing this one.
I seen this product on a commercial and I knew I had to have it. And it cuts through tin metal just like the commercial showed. Wow made my job so much easier.

Cuts 20 guage like butter.
It's as well as expected. First I tried it on a too small, 50 year old corded drill and I thought it was junk. I tried it on a better, slightly larger battery operated drill and it cut smoothly, quickly and I feel better letting my dogs go in the garage with me, no steel splinters.

If you do not have metal cutting experience this tool is not for you
Was skeptical about this with the reviews...but...bought it anyway. I think I see and understand the negative reviews and have some things to add to help clarify. 1st. I used this on metal...22g and it cuts it just fine...the reason I bought it was to cut squares of flooring to use as pads/silencer pads to quiet the steel weights in my test weight carts. I had pictures of me cutting the steel sheets and the flooring (vct or whatever they call that stuff) but can not find the pics this is all i could find. 2nd. The flat outer non knurled wheel is adjustable...it need to be run in and have the same pressure against the other wheel as a pair of tin snips/hedge trimmer blades have against each other. Too loose and you will get the cuts like you see in the pictures posted....too tight and it will bind up and not cut well. 3. Add a bit of oil to the blades to help the disks slide over on another.. remember you are tightening them to one another. 4. Use a variable speed drill on a very very slow speed....the slower I went the better/smoother/straighter my cut was. Don't use an impact driver... 5. Get the angle right on the drill and duct tape a paint stir stick to the back of it to let the stick ride on the metal and it hold your drill at the right angle to you can concentrate on steering and pushing. Plan your direction of cut...this tool operates the same way red and green snips do.....IT IS DIRECTIONAL WITH THE UP AND DOWN PUSH! Do those things and this little tool is a great little cutter. Don't think for a second you are going to use it for a construction tool or industrial use or even to cut all the panels on your new barn roof. But for the occasional cutting and light use this is a good little tool. For 20 bucks don't thing you are going to replace your kettle shears or nibbles or even your red and green wiss snips.

Mine was bad
Right out the box it had broken teeth on the gear and won't cut,the stabilizer bar doesn't fit so I gotta use both hands with it

Very efficient
I primarily got this to be able to cut up a huge packing box into smaller pieces to efficiently recycle them. It did a great job and made the job so much easier. I look forward to using it on some thin metal wires next.

Cuts thin aluminum cleanly and easier to shape than tin snips
Worked well for cutting thin aluminum sheet and left cleaner edges than typical tin snips. I bought this mainly for cutting 22-gauge aluminum sheet where I wanted to avoid the bending and distortion marks that tin snips often leave behind. It handled that material well and made it easier to keep a reasonably straight line. One thing I noticed while using it is that it’s also surprisingly good at cutting curves and shapes. I didn’t specifically need that feature for my project, but it would be useful for more detailed sheet metal work. I tested it with a Makita drill, a Hercules drill, and a smaller Milwaukee drill. It didn’t require much power once cutting started, at least on thin aluminum. I haven’t tried it on steel, so I can’t say how well it would handle thicker or harder material. Cons: Likely best suited for thinner material Unknown performance on steel or heavier gauge metals Bottom line: A useful attachment for cutting thin aluminum cleanly without the distortion you get from snips. Easy to use, works with a variety of drills, and handles curves better than expected.

Handy tool to have!
Easy to set up and easy to use. Cuts great! We used it to dismantle a metal shed, cut like a hot knife thru butta.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, Couldn’t cut corrugated metal straight, made a mess of the material, I may have to buy a new sheet. The handle also broke and I never even got one cut complete…what can you expect for $40
