After inserting AAA batteries (two for the black on and one for the smaller one) these lit right up. I needed small portable lights for hunting antiques, with 395m spectrum to discern true vaseline glass from manganese in glass. These are lightweight yet seem durable. The buttons are firm. Both lights emitted a strong beam and lit up a full shelf of glass.

You get what you buy, a basic flashlight perfect for black lighting objects. I use it for my funko pops and it works great. No extra mods, just on and off and it is perfect. 10/10

As a Notary Public/Notary Signing Agent, I purchased these to help identify fraudulent ID cards. These lights are pretty sturdy. They are made from quality materials. The snapping action feels solid, and you get a nice audible click when turning the lights on and off. The light itself illuminates the holograms on the ID cards very brightly. They put off a nice quality purple-toned UV light. They are not heavy; I found them to be very light. Easy to handle and manage. Compact and fits snuggly inside my bag. I cannot speak to the battery life, but I will update this review if I find it inadequate. Worth buying at this price point.

Lightning fast shipping and delivery. Pleased that I selected the pair with 2 different sizes. Works like a charm and has been fun to test on different ID's and money bills in the home. I purchased this to supplement for my notary business. It's imperative that as a notary public, to detect fraud and prevent it. One of the ways is to verify the identification of a signer and this tool will help detect counterfeit ID's. Will need 3 AAA batteries (2 for the big one, 1 for the travel size), sold separately.

They are as advertised. They are small and fit perfectly into my hand. I use one for work and the other is a spare. The one at work has saved me time checking documents. I would buy again when needed.

Very good flashlights I've dropped them so many times and they still work which is amazing

The 395nm is too bright to see the uv strip on the 100. All the other bills show up muted. I found out that you should stay as close to 365nm to see all the uv strips on US currency. So I'll have to get another uv light.
