Just what I needed. Works great and it’s cute
So far no issues. Beautiful is compact for a small kitchen/space . I made hibiscus tea right out of the package. I used the tea function. Seems straight forward on how to use .

Bad interface good water taste
I got this the other day and just set it up now. I washed the kettle with soap and water and then boiled water in it to clean it before use. On the first boil the water tasted good and safe to drink. With others I've tried there was a bad taste that never went away with cleaning and boiling and dumping. The controls are confusing. There are only 2 buttons even though it seems like there are 4. I would have preferred to use Centigrade instead of Featherweight. For Tea there seems to be a timer setting where it will keep the water hot while it steeps but I don't understand how to set the time on Tea. Also some teas don't want boiling hot water. Ideally there would be a way to set temp and time, but it's not clear how to do that with the controls. There is also just setting the temp and the kettle will keep it at that temp until all the a water is boiled away. I was hopping it would heat the water and then stop and signal it was done. It does not do that with what I've tried. I have to take the kettle off the base to turn the unit off which uses up counter space more than it could be off and on the base and still plugged-in. The interface is not great. The taste in the water is trust worthy safe. It does boil the water nicely. I wish the interface was better, but that's what you get for about 40$.

Very fragile glass! Second one broke. No customer service.
Update on 12/30 (drop from 3 stars to 1): This glass is very thin and fragile. The first one I owned for less than 3 months and the glass just broke while I was washing it (the mere pressure of my hand scrubbing it broke it). And I still could not get a hold of customer service. Well this second one arrived today and the glass was already broken inside the box. Had to return it just now. -------- I'm comparing the topwit electric kettle to the Beestar glass kettle which is $10 less than this Topwit. Despite being cheaper, it is better. Here's why: Where beestar is better than topwit: - Max volume (0.7L) is almost as large as Topwit's 0.8L, yet this Beestar is much smaller and more compact - 100% glass interior is much easier to clean than topwit's metal and silicon seal bottom. Topwit's silicon seal bottom easily traps particles if you cook any soups or teas with it - display is brighter than topwit (can't see topwit display during the day) - glass is thick and sturdy. Topwit's glass is VERY thin and fragile! (TWO of my topwits cracked after just months of use. The 2nd one was cracked during shipping). Beestar's glass is very hard to break. - $10 cheaper - MUCH better customer service than Topwit. Beestar is fast and responsive. TopWit is not responsive and impossible for me to get a hold of for the cracked glass. - Can use Beestar's as a personal heated mug and drink directly from it. The Topwit is too bulky and not designed to drink from. Pouring into a separate mug is necessary with Topwit. Here's where topwit is better: - heats faster to boil (due to the built in heating element). - can go directly to tea or warm settings. Beestar must boil first then cool down to tea settings. This can take 15-20 minutes. Or you can turn it off while heating up to a boil, but this is a bit of a pain. - Topwit has slightly higher capacity 0.8L vs 0.7L - topwit's cord is a bit longer (26 inches vs Beestar's 22 inches). But both are honestly too short need an extension cord. - Beestar cover falls off easily especially if pouring since it just sits on top. Topwit's cover snugly stays in place. - Topwit's rubber feet supports are affixed tighter. Beestar's comes off loose. Not an issue if you are careful and Beestar is kept stationary. But if you travel, you'll probably want to super glue the rubber meets back onto the Beestar. - Beestar exuded a strong chemical odor that gives me headaches whereas the topwit is much more neutral and doesn't make me react as much. But I am also extremely chemically sensitive unlike most people. Both products have bad manuals and poorly designed, non-intuitive interfaces and controls. Overall, due to the customer service and my problems with multiple broken glass on the Topwit, this Beestar is the better mini electric glass kettle.

Literally the cutest!
I admit it, I bought it for the look. I was worried it might be too small and I’d end up returning it but honestly, it’s just right! I even used it yesterday when I had a guest over who loves coffee as much as I do and the water it holds goes a surprisingly long way! I was also concerned that it wouldn’t boil quickly but it is very fast! It’s also very quiet. I also love that it has a tea infuser.. the first day I got it, my kids and I shared a pot of mint tea and it is sooooo lovely that it stays warm! Loved that feature even more when I prepared coffee in it.. I boiled the water and then added instant espresso… I just love this little thing!! The only draw back for me, and I’m being picky here, is that the temperature light always stays on and it’s pretty bright white light. But it’s really not a big deal when everything else about it is so perfect! Very pleased with this product!

Small and pretty, but doesn’t beep at temp
It holds a quart of water (4 cups) which is all I need. I thought it was gold, but it’s rose gold. It heats water quickly, but it doesn’t seem to hold the temperature of the water. The screen only gives numbers and it alternates between the current temp of the water and the temp you’re going to. It doesn’t beep when it boils and then immediately stops boiling and goes to a hold temp of 104 unless you change the hold temp EVERY time. And you can’t set the hold temp until after you have reached your desired temperature. It does seem to boil quickly, especially from 104. But I have a hard time with the cancel button. There is no start button, so if you wait too long on a temp it will start heating. Then it’s hard to cancel because it’s a touch button not a physical button. I don’t know if this is just a defective unit or what. I love that the low temp is 104F, but you can only increase in 9° increments. This works well enough, but the highest temp before boiling is only 194. The unit is very light. The buttons are touch, not physical buttons. Often the unit moves around a little when I try to press buttons. You can offset the movement by pushing down on the corners.

A tea pot that actually does the job!
Great pot for brewing tea and coffee. I found the “coffee” presetting works better for tea than the “tea” setting if you wish to keep the tea warm for more than 30 minutes.
