3M Quick and Easy Headlight Restoration Kit, Removes Light Yellowing in 15-Minutes

What a great kit, I actually bought the wrong one thinking it was the one that came with different 3 different pads and a Polishing compound but this was just the 3k grit pad and 2 sealing wipes. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and yes its done in 15 minutes, simple and effective and as long as it lasts 12 months ill be happy but time will tell. November 2025

I was amazed with the result. I was just about to purchase a second hand headlight for my car from eBay for £160 and I thought I would give this a try first. Saved myself over £150. My headlight looks fantastic, I attached the sanding pad to my electric drill and the headlight came up fantastic.

Works ok but suggest more preparation if the lens cover is hazy as mine was possibly a fine wet and dry before you use their fine paper - the lacquer despite being in tiny pouches is quite good

Firstly it is leather and well made, if you take you're time this will give a very good end result, you need to take the thread from the front on a diagonal angle to the rear row of stitching and you stich through the stiches and don't pull too tight just enough to take any creases away keep this up and you should end up with a very nice refurbished driving wheel, there is plenty of thread in the pack more than enough to finish the product and have some over in case of any repairs. it is a professional looking finish, hope this helps.

First time restoring headlights, just get a spray bottle full of water and sand each side until the water coming off runs relatively clear. Quick clean off and dry then apply the wipe on both sides, wait 15-20 mins and use the second wipe on both again. Really easy and the coating has lasted through a wash already. Make sure to wear some kind of gloves, if you do get it on your hands it does come off easy enough with some 99% IPA and scrubbing. Worth the money versus paying for someone to do it for you. Included the before and after pictures, as you can see it works really well.

A bit disappointing. I had polished the headlights with silver polish and the 3M supplied pad actually put scratches back. The transparent sealant sort of worked but I did not get the clarity of finish I expected (may have been a bit cold?).

This is just WOW! 😍 As the package says, it only took around 15 minutes to get the job done. My headlights look so much clearer now, and the difference is genuinely impressive. Super easy to use and definitely worth it.

All you get is one small bit of sanding pad plus 2x uv wipes that’s it.. my headlamps weren’t yellowed just a light cloudy.. Followed the instructions and the headlamps looked great until the uv liquid started to dry, it dried to a haze.. I now have lamps covered in a haze which is worse than before I started. You’re paying for the name it’s not a good product. Wouldn’t recommend..

Juste exceptionnel. Conseillé par un ami, ce produit remet vraiment a neuf les phares blanchis par le soleil et les intempéries. Il est, de plus, facile a utiliser (et bien expliqué!)

I used wet sanding paper in grits 320, 600, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 2500. Only after that I used the 3000 grit and sealant from the box. And the results are very good, headlights looks like new.

If you follow the instructions your guaranteed good results. Was amazed on how easy it was to restore the headlights on two of my cars at the same time. I placed my 2 cars side by side and followed all the steps . The results on both cars was amazing .

Me sorprendió como quedó mi faro estaba tan feo que pensé que no iba a funcionar pero quedo muy pero que muy bien. Muy recomendable.
