K07030 Lacquer Spray Paint Gloss Black, 12 Ounce Aerosol (Pack of 2)

I was tentative to proceed and to try using this lacquer at first to preserve handmade ornaments made by my children. THEY ARE COMPLETELY PRICELESS to me. As it turns out, this was ONE OF MY BEST IDEAS I EVER HAD because it worked out PERFECTLY!! I wanted to secure every bean, button, or anything glued onto their projects, crafts, ornaments, Mother’s Day gifts, birthday, holiday, craft time, any other occasion, or for no occasion at all!!! . They each made me a wreath MADE ENTIRELY OF GLUED BEANS AND THIS LAQUER WORKED WONDERS ON THEM AND SECURED THISE BEANS!!!! It’s clear in color and dries with a little shine. You need to apply it carefully and use a steady stream without holding it in a spot for too long. Applying too much at a time will cause it to drip down and possibly damage your precious and irreplaceable item you’re applying it to. STEADY , EVEN STROKES WITHOUT STOPPING will get the job done! ***There is a VERY STRONG odor, so you need excellent VENTILATION or you should do it OUTSIDE. I strongly recommend a face mask because the odor is noxious. IT COULD POTENTIALLY EXACERBATE PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS SUCH AS ASTHMA IR COPD. .****Please heed this warning for your safety.**** This product was worth every penny and it did the job EXCEPTIONALLY!!! These items mean the world to me, so I’m very grateful that I found this excellent product to protect and preserve my children’s handmade gifts. Had to spray paint a replacement body part for my car, looks like exact same quality as the MAACO paint shop that I went to get professionally done for the original piece. If you follow the directions written on the can, the pain will apply perfectly.

With lots of experience using spray paint in cans, and knowing what challenges can be expected when using your finger to press the button valve, I decided to try the Can Gun 1 spray adapter. Huge improvement in comfort, efficiency, and control. The Krylon Lacquer discharged with a fine mist, no sputtering or clogging. The finish dried fast, 15 minutes between coats, and produced a smooth, consistent finish. Based on past experiences with canned spray paints, I'm confident that the Can Gun 1 adapter played a significant role in improving the application process. Additionally it is critical that the can be shaken, agitated vigorously prior to and during application.

The spray paint worked very well for my purpose! I used it to paint a sword prop made of card stock and foam. It easily adhered and let the lacquer finish! Only issue I had was that the paint would come off when the sword accidentally smacked into walls as I wore it on my person at a con - but that could be seen as my fault in terms of not using a sealant. All and all, worked pretty well and amazing for the price :) (Apologies for poor quality of photos)

I used this to paint after doing some body work on a 1948 Chevy. Amazingly it was a near perfect match to the car. Sprayed on smooth and dried to a nice gloss. Covered well too.
