The English male voice that announces the readings is clear and easy to understand, making it very helpful for people with no or low vision. In my opinion, the accuracy of the blood oxygen readings is relatively good, but I wouldn't expect clinical-grade precision. Most of my readings have been consistent, though results can be significantly affected by less-than-ideal conditions (e.g. cold hands). The accuracy of the pulse rate measurements seems to be more precise. Overall, it's a suitable option for monitoring trends at home, especially for those with poor vision.

I have low vision and I’m using Siri to write this. Please excuse any strange words. I could’ve bought the regular one for a lot less, but it would’ve been useless. It would’ve beeped but told me nothing. This tells me everything I need to know and I can keep track of it on a regular basis. I just leave it on my side table, slamming on my finger go And that way I can feel good about how I feel or how I don’t feel lol I think it’s great. Well worth the money good product. This was purchased for my 95 year old father who is blind. We check his 02 and pulse every day and while I am sighted and can easily read the display, he can hear for himself what the readings are. He's also able to check it on his own. Having a talking pulse oximeter is a very helpful device. So glad we found this one.

Was not impressed with this item, i have a mom who requires oxygen and is also partially blind, the voice aspect was awesome, but the reading were off, it was not off by a couple of points it was off by alot. The price was affordable but for someone who depends on oxygen it needs to be pretty accurate.

The description on Amazon says there is lanyard. The box says there is a lanyard. There is no lanyard. Small thing but the thing that will help me not lose it.

This is the second SmartHeart Talking Pulse Oximeter I've bought for my mom. Hers walked away while she was in rehab. She monitors her Sp02 frequently throughout the day before and after activity as we work on conditioning and improved mobility. It's loud enough that she can hear it and it's easy to use. Put it on a finger, push the button, and it reads the O2 and heart rate.
