Very happy with this thermometer. I made tanghulu and it needed to heat to 300°. It was easy to use because it has a pot clip. Easy to clean with hot soapy water. Looks accurate to me.

Very accurate, with making candy, it's very readable, good battery. Only con it shuts off sometimes but just turn it back on an you right back to reading precise temp, very satisfied.

Easy to use and clean. It gives accurate readings especially when I made candy apples. It is very functional and can be used for any of your cooking needs that require an accurate temperature. It also has a clip to hook on the side of pot/pan. Product held up well inside of a boiling pot etc. Exactly what I needed to complete my creations that require accurate temps

I use it to check the internal of my homemade bread

First time using this it melted into something that can never be used again. Used it connected to my pot of frying grease via the clip provided. Grease never topped 360 degrees. It never fell into the grease nor came in contact with anything. The heat in the air emitted from the pot caused the whole face to dissolve and distort. It must have also loosened the glue holding the head to the steel shaft because after it cooled I put it back into the protective holder only for it to come apart when pulled it back out. This product is incapable of monitoring frying. It should never be marketed or sold saying that it can. Very disappointed. It seemed accurate for the two minutes it worked.

For $14.99 it’s a great gadget. I ordered it because the receipt for candy called for a thermometer but I’ve used it more for checking the internal temperature of meat. I have a meat thermometer that costs a lots more which I used to compare the temp and found that it was within a couple of degrees of each other

bien pratique, il fonctionne bien et tient bien sur le bord du chaudron, on peut ajuster la profondeur pour qu'il ne touche pas au fond.

J’utilise ce thermomètre pour vérifier la température de mon huile végétale. Il tient bien sa température mais le bouton sur le dessus du thermomètre a fini par se coincer et demeurer immobile à la position on. J’ai donc enlevé la batterie pour ne pas qu’elle se décharge et essayé de décoincer le bouton qui a fini par tomber dans le thermomètre. Je ne peux plus le retourner car la date finale de retour était le 31 janvier 2025. J’en avais acheté 2 et l’autre fonctionne bien mais, je demeure très prudente pour le bouton on/off.

Has a nice mount so the probe can tilt into to the mixing bowl, when using with the kitchenaid. Then when you tilt the probe you can tilt the display so you can read it.

Accurate temperature measurements but quite long which doesn’t always work for my purposes
