Medium Chews With Real Beef 4 Count, Rawhide-Free Chews For Dogs

I have two dogs, firstly, so I always appreciate even-numbered quantities of snacks (though I will buy two bags if I have to, in order to have an even amount). Odin has been eating these for 14 or so years. I've had Ollie (doodle) for a year now and he loves them also. We usually get the mini-bones which are otherwise the same as these and come in some different flavors, but we get these sometimes as an extra treat. They don't last as long as real rawhide, but the benefits are that they are chewable and digestible and safer for dogs. They last longer than soft treats, anyway, and the dogs love them. They also smell pretty good for dog snacks.

My dogs LOVE these! Not rawhide so ok to give about once or twice a week. Because they devour immediately, don't give too many close together. But it is a great treat when they get them. I buy several bags at a time. They're THAT important here! 😉

My dogs go crazy over this beef flavored bone. It's their favorite treat to get. They actually bug me for more. It's nice knowing its a good safe treat to not give a blockage and is healthy and is their favorite of everything they get.

The Smart Bones are fun for my dog and they are safe because they have no rawhide. They also give her good chewing fun which is clean for her teeth. Her Vet says she has good clean teeth & that is all she gets besides her regular food.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my dog, because yes, I am that dog mom. If it squeaks, crunches, or smells remotely edible, it counts as a present. For context, my dog is a small/medium 12-lb Xolo/Chihuahua mix with the chewing power of something much larger. He loves bones and sticks, but rawhide is a hard no in our house because it absolutely wrecks his stomach. So these seemed like a safer compromise. Smell & first impression: The smell is actually pretty mild to me. Nothing offensive or “why does this exist indoors?” level. To my dog, though, it might as well be eau de steakhouse. The second I pull the bag out, he goes into full hyper-fixation mode. Eyes locked. Tail vibrating. Zero thoughts, just chew. Softness & quality: These chews are definitely on the softer side. That’s good for digestibility and teeth, but it also means they’re not meant to last forever. They’re more “occupied snack” than “long-term project.” The texture is easy for him to bite into, and I don’t worry about him cracking a tooth. Longevity: For an aggressive chewer, these last about 20–30 minutes if he’s left uninterrupted. That’s not bad for a rawhide-free chew, but it’s also not something that will keep your dog busy all afternoon. If your dog is less intense, you’ll probably get more mileage. Digestive issues (important note): These do not upset his stomach as long as I don’t give them too frequently. If I space them out, we’re fine. If I get generous and offer them too often, things get… unpleasant. So moderation is key, especially for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Value: At around $8 for four bones, the price feels fair for what they are. They’re not an everyday chew for us, but they work well as an occasional treat that satisfies his urge to gnaw without the rawhide risks. Overall, these are a solid option if you’re looking for a rawhide-free chew that dogs genuinely love and you’re okay with the fact that they won’t last forever. My dog is obsessed, his stomach stays happy when I use them sparingly, and that’s a win in my book. Four stars from one very invested dog mom and her extremely enthusiastic chewer.

My dog loves these treats, and doesnt upset his stomach

We have been buying these for our Pyrador for 5 years (he is now 7 years old). He looks like a 184 pound Great Pyranees with a strawberry and creme labrador coat. We love these bones are made like a healthy, crunchy treat. His bite strength is probably around 500 PSI so they only last a few minutes but this treat is the highlight of his day. He knows when 8pm is coming and waits with bated breath. When we ask him "What time is it?", his entire body becomes animated. Once we give it to him, he runs out of the room where we keep them, drifting around the corner to the livingroom where he prances around before getting right to business. These bones from knot to knot just fit his mouth, the perfect size for a yummy bedtime snack.

My dog loves these. I don’t give him rawhide and he’s got a very sensitive stomach and he’s never had any problems with these. And they really smell like beef. I get medium size even though I’ve got a large dog because I think it’s a good deal and he seems ok with the smaller one.
